Visited again for Easter. The holiday specials were Lamb & Virginia baked ham. We ordered the lamb & baked grouper topped with crabmeat, 1905 salad & sangria. All were fantastic. Picked up some guava cream cheese pastries in the gift shop to take home as well! These are the same ones from the dessert menu, minus the sauce. $2.50 each.... More

There were 4 of us and all we ordered were appetizers. It was a blast eating off each other's plate. The food was fabulous and worth a return.

Recommended by a coworker, specifically the seafood paella (paella marinera). Had the paella, my wife has a gluten allergy and they were able to accommodate (they have a gluten free menu). Cuban bread and butter was amazing, I felt guilty about eating my wife's portion...for about 5 seconds. Got a free birthday flan for dessert. The seafood paella was absolutely... More

First off, I'd encourage anyone looking for a quiet intimate couples dinner to re-think Columbia. I fell in love with the inside décor on the website, the menu is big and exciting, so I booked it for reservations our last night in St Augustine to celebrate our farewell to the city. The outside of the restaurant is beautiful as we... More

My family and I recently celebrated a special birthday at the Columbia Restaurant and had a great evening. The bread is out of this world, each persons portion comes to the table piping hot and individually wrapped in paper. The sangria is made table side and is delicious. I ordered the grilled snapper and it was delicious.

My family in Florida gave me my choice of locations for my birthday dinner, and I chose the Columbia. I had never eaten there but had heard only great things about it.. The ambiance is festive-love the tiles! Sangria prepared table side...The menu is outstanding...There were 7 of us, and each one ordered something different...all meals were delicious! My red... Now this was a pleasant surprise. We took a tour of St Augustine and while on tour they passed this place off one of the side streets. The guide explained that this is the oldest restaurant in the city that is still family owned since 1905. Our thoughts- WOW, we love family owned places. So we had to go- and... More

Description
Family-owned and operated for over 111 years, Columbia has earned acclaim for its old-world charm and award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine and wine list. Join us for century-old family recipes like Paella "a la Valenciana," Filet Mignon and fresh seafood specialties. Don't miss Columbia's Original "1905" Salad(R), prepared tableside with our delicious, freshly-made dressing, a 110-year-old family recipe of fresh garlic, oregano, wine vinegar and Spanish extra virgin olive oil. Be sure to sample a fine Spanish wine like Montecillo or Campillo. Relax in our courtyard or Mediterranean-style dining rooms, filled with hundreds of hand-painted tiles and Spanish-style fountains. We are a sister to the Columbia in Tampa's Ybor City, founded in 1905. Children's menu available. Casual attire is fine, but we don't allow sleeveless shirts on men. Open 365-days a year, including all holidays. Please visit our website for the most current menu listings.
