1st visit here, wife heard about it, decided to try it. Thought food very good, definitely a New Orleans spice. Craft beer list was exemplary....will be going back for sure. Only downfall is signage for restaurant....drove right by it initially. Blink and you'll miss it.

First time visit, always nervous about trying cajun places. This place is definitely going on my return trip list. Boudin and soft shell crabs, excellent. Only suggestion, fix hours of operation listed on here, almost didn't go because it said it was closed today.

This was my second trip to this little place off the beaten path. It’s sort of hard to find since it’s tucked up by the flea market on Park. It doesn’t look like much from the road, and the sign saying leave your phone in the car might put some people off. That is just a hint of the type... More

Boy, has this place ever gone DOWN since I used to frequent it some years ago! It used to be great! For starters, I noticed that the menu has shrunk by maybe 50%. That is, the actual menu that they hand you, not the online menu which hasn't been updated in over 4 years, as evidenced by my next comment.... More

Great old.school bayou environment on a canal. Unfortunately ever single dish was too hot. This review comes from an individual very familiar with "Cajun" cooking and spices.

This is a serious Cajun resturant with a diverse menu. Everyone enjoyed their choices and we shared bites with each other, just to get a taste. My blackened catfish was excellent and if I return, I will order the Jumbalia.

Been here a few times and each time is just as good as the last. This place is not fine dining and it even looks a little sketchy but get past that and you'll enjoy some alligator bites, fried chicken hearts, boudin and crawfish étouffé that will keep you coming back for more. If you don't like Cajun food don't... More

This places oozed creole culture. The food was spot on, the atmosphere incredible (though could be quite warm in the summer) and the beer selection was quite impressive. They have a large selection of local craft beers on tap that change every day. Most of which are hard to find in other places. If you're looking to spend some time... More

We stopped after spending the morning at the Wagon Wheel Flea Market next door. We sat in the outdoor area over the river, enjoying the kayakers paddling by. Fried green tomatoes, fried chicken hearts and of course their jambalaya! Yum! And leave room or at least get a portion to go of the whiskey bread pudding!!! Been here many times... More
