After waiting an hour, we were relieved to be called. However, we soon found ourselves sitting by the kitchen door as if we were in the middle of an expressway. The host gave us the look of "be happy you have a seat." Oh, well at least the food is decent.

Went here for dinner with family after a graduation. Had an hour wait since they don't take reservations:v ((. Took a while to get seated served, and then another wait for our meals even though it was nine o'clock by this time. I ordered some gumbo which was good, but too much salt. Very spicy, which I like. I had... More

We were a group of 11 people and we sat outside. Asked if they could do separate checks. No problem!! I had a cup of gumbo(probably the best I have ever had) and blackened mahi with a side of smoked gouda cheese grits. Outstanding!! There were only four of us the next night and we were going to try somewhere... More

Went here with the fam and the food was terrific. Service was ok. I expected much better service. My party got their drinks refilled, but I was sucking the ice dry on my water and I'm supposee to leave a big tip? The least expensive entree was 20. Most of us got the shrimp Camppinelli and it was great at 22.... More

New to the Pensacola area and love seafood. Saw reviews for The Fish House and wanted to try it. Glad we did. Got there early evening on a Saturday. Pretty busy and rain on the way. We wanted to sit on the deck anyway and tool our chances. Had about a half hour wait for a table. Went to the... More

After all of the positive reviews about this restaurant we decided to give it a try. The crab claw appetizer, while very expensive, was very good. My husband and daughter got tuna. My son had blackened grouper, and I had cracker coated, fried red snapper. The fish and crab claws were about all that was edible about the meal, although... More

We brought our out of town guest here on a busy Saturday night and were able to get seated (outside) in about five minutes. The waitress was cordial, attentive and friendly and the food was excellent. The signature Grits a Ya Ya never disappoints, the crab cake was tasty and the Grouper Parmesan delicious and filling. We never hesitate to... More
