Went to this restaurant because it was on the intercoastal waterway and my nine year old grandson had never been to a restaurant like that. Food was good, atmosphere on the water was excellent, server was superior, and bars in different sections. We just missed the live music.

The Waterway Cafe is large, interesting interior, with good views of boats moving up and down the waterway waiting and then sailing under the drawbridge. This eatery cater's (at least at lunchtime) to seniors. I expected much more of an outstanding eating experience based the upscale atmosphere and good service. I certainly would not discourage anyone from avoiding this restaurant,... More

I love eating at a restaurant that's near the water, and especially one that has boats docking and riding by. That's Waterway Café and you get the added benefit of watching a drawbridge go up and down as well! The food is plentiful and very tasty, and the staff is very helpful. Prices are good. I had lunch there the... More

We went for the happy hour offers 50% off all drinks except champagne and wine. Found a good table looking over the water despite it being very busy. Nice and relaxing atmosphere watching the yachts pass by. Drinks took a while to arrive as all waitresses were dealing with a large group of people having the early bird special menu.... More

First time here with the woman I'm dating; she has been here before many times. Cecilia was absolutely fantastic as our server; and the GM Aaron was kind enough to come to our table to thank us for coming in. Overall experience was excellent, great food, not too expensive, on the water and feeling the breeze! I love this place!... More

We like going there because it is a very casual comfortable restaurant. We sometimes go for dinner and/or happy hour. Everyone is very nice but our servers Mary Ann and Sandy are special.

Difficult to get a handle on...it is confusing, but actually surprisingly good. It is more like a condo, pool, bar, eatery combination. A new consept for me.

Great place to watch boats go by and have a drink in the sun. We came Saturday afternoon for a late lunch and drinks. Great staff, live music was at the perfect volume and great views of the water. Decent food with good prices. I had the Asian salad with grilled chicken. Wet dressing pooled at the bottom of bowl... More

After the great reviews, I guess I expected too much. We met friends for the sunset dinner and I had the salad with a watered down blue cheese dressing, very bland and mushy fried rice with a few tasteless shrimp. The best part was a tiny but very good key lime pie. Aside from the view, nothing to recommend here.
