We recently took my nieces (age 6 and 3) for a family dinner at Chef Mickey's as the kick-off of a short weekend Disney vacation. The atmosphere is very kid friendly, a little loud, a little chaotic, but the staff is well trained and adaptable. The food was good. I see a lot of reviews complaining about the food quality... The food was just ok. I think most people just go there for the characters. We actually visited this restaurant on in 2015. It was very pricey. We had the dining plan so I didn't have to worry about the prices. It's a great place to meet Mickey! My daughters loved it!!!

Expensive, but worth the individual time with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Donald Duck. The food is excellent, a great variety for breakfast.

You have to go here for the Character brunch if you've got little people but just accept you're going to pay a lot of money for an average buffet ($50 per adult). Service was good and the characters (Pluto, Goofy, Donald, Minnie and Mickey) circled all the tables and were very patient whilst we got the photos right!

Don't go here for the food. The food is ok but it's not the star of the show. The visit with the charecters is the highlight. Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, & Pluto all visit each table for pictures and interaction.

If you don't want to stand in line to see the Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Donald and Goofy characters you can see all 5 of them when you book the Chef Mickey dinner. Part of the table service dining plan. The food is buffet meal best thing was the short ribs, various salads and deserts so save room for desert! May... More

I am sitting in our room at the Contemporary Resort as I write this. And I honestly, don't write reviews often. The food here is TERRIBLE! We have had some amazing meals here at Disney- San Angel Inn, Japan, yak and yeti, skipper's jungle canteen. This was also our second time here. I wish I could have paid for just... More

Dining at Chef Mickey's is a must-do at least once if you have small children, or just love Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto! We had a breakfast reservation, and only had to wait about 5 minutes before we were seated. The breakfast buffet is all very good, and has plenty of choices. It was a bit pricey, but what... More

The breakfast buffet is best that we had during our stay in Disney. Many different choices, and characters are a hoot for the kids. I recommend to do it once. But breakfast for 3 is about $120.
