The food here is good, pricey but easily the best food experienced in the whole of walt Disney world by an absolute mile. Nice quiet atmosphere too as a welcome relief. The servers are professional and knowledgeable. Good wine list. Is a restaurant I would happily visit anywhere.

Always a pleaser. You can't miss with anything ordered. From the lamb to the filet on Mac and cheese. The atmosphere is so relaxing and unique and a cute bar with wonderfully exotic drinks. Must stop for the adventure in dining. Make sure to request Dawn from PI !!

To me an excellent meal. Well prepared. Presentation was appealing. Moist and tender. Tasted great. BUT .... not the servicer but the kitchen was slow. Be prepared to sit for an hour before your entree arrives. Two hours in total. Had short ribs and wagyu lion. Both superb as said above. BUT, again, be aware that this is a 4Star... More

The food at Jiko is excellent. The service is wonderful. The prices will make you faint. This is not a place for kids as the food is challenging and the atmosphere is quiet. Take the kids across the hall and they will be very happy. The wine list is pretty interesting and deserves a serious perusal. As with any fine... More

Ate here in May of 2016, just now getting around to reviewing but its still one of my all time favorites! The wild boar appetizer was the best appetizer EVER! I had the lamb and it was practically perfect in every single way! Can't wait to eat here again in October! The hotel and the restaurant are absolutely stunning and... More

Loved this restaurant and had one of the nicest meals ever. All the staff were very friendly and took time to explain the menu and made great recommendations. Would definitely tell anyone visiting Disney to make sure they treated themselves to at least one visit at this lovely restaurant.

Located in the Animal Kingdom lodge, this place is not for the person who is picky about their food. Our waiter, Hassan, was great. He helped us order a bottle of wine and walked us through the menu. We started with the taste of Africa--different flat breads with 4 dipping sauces. Wife had the seafood curry--not oeverly spicy but good... More

My wife, two daughters (6 and 8) and I enjoyed a wonderful meal at Jiko. Started with the Taste of African which everyone enjoyed despite the variety of spices and palette tolerances. For drinks, the Victoria Falls Mist was refreshing while my wife loved the Hanging out in Cape Town. For entrees, I ordered the Wagyu steak and my wife... More

Really nice food and great service but ultimately we were sat next to an emergency exit where I could have been in any fast food restaurants. A meal of over $200 for 2 should involve a Michelin star at least but again the machine that is Disney dictates these pricing levels as standard for anything over a basic quick service... More
