Theming at this restaurant is very cool, loved the tables with 50’s tv’s next to them showing old Disney clips. We had a great waitress who was very much In character. She kept calling us ‘kiddos’ and telling us to do our chores or we...More

This is a great place for taking you back to your childhood. Fun for the whole family, teens even put their phones away! We have eaten here 6 times and have never been disappointed. In fact we just made reservations for September 2018.

Never been here before and we had some time to kill while at Disney so we waited for 2 hours (spring break...dinner at 6pm...for 7 people). There was enough to keep the kids occupied and the adults well lubricated thanks to the bar. Food was...More

As others have said, if you come here, expect some fun interactions with the staff, who may do things like ask you to set the table, or act deliberately sloppy. The food is very good - we went for the sampler and I’d recommend the...More

This was our 1st time and I was not disappointed! Everything was amazing. We all got something different and everyone cleared their plate! My teens even enjoyed putting their phones away for the hour and talking! I had the hardest time chosing food as this...More

This was recommended to us from a friend who had used the Disney dining plan. Although we were paying guests this was worth every penny. The service was great, the food excellent, the waitress was so funny and the whole experience made that day for...More

I’m not sure what some of these reviewers were expecting. The food is supposed to be comfort food. The service is supposed to be a little snotty like they’re family. I see so many complaints about these two things..... don’t go here if you’re expecting...More

We had a reservation at 7:30, checked in at 7:10 and were told we would be waiting for about 20 minutes. After about 35 we went and asked and they said it would be a little while longer, so we waited. At 8:05 we still...More

Not a quick service but on the dining plan as a table service. I would say one of the better table service options in the parks.

50's Prime Time Café serves classic American comfort food in a TV-themed setting. The restaurant sits across from Echo Lake in Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park. The 50's Prime Time Café menu includes family favorites like golden fried chicken, traditional meatloaf and pot roast, cooked the way Mom used to make it—that is, if Mom were a 1950s sitcom star.Be welcomed into Mom's family and feel at home in her kitchenette. But Mom expects you to mind your manners, so don't be surprised if she tells you to keep your elbows off the table. It's all part of the old-fashioned fun and gentle ribbing that's served up along with the food.TV Tables and Tune-In LoungeFor a special treat at 50's Prime Time Café, grab a "TV Table" that seats up to 4 diners and has a television next to the table that broadcasts clips from popular prime time sitcoms circa 1955 including "Father Knows Best" and the original "Mickey Mouse Club."Bop into 50's Prime Time Café for lunch or dinner. Cocktails, wines by the glass and frosty beers are available from Mom for Guests 21 years of age and older, or relax in the Tune-In Lounge full-service bar and sip Dad's Electric Lemonade or Grandma's Picnic Punch. From the mid-50s knick-knacks and memorabilia that decorate this restaurant to the dessert menu displayed through viewfinder toys, nostalgia is the main ingredient at 50's Prime Time Café.
