Been here about 4 times now and have always enjoyed it. It really does kind of seem like a kitchen from the 50's with all the old memoribilia and TV shows playing. Simple food like meat loaf and fried chicken and usually the waitress or waiter can be entertaining. Good place for kids of all ages!

It is truly like taking a step back in time to grandmas house (decor and food). Everything on the menu is comfort food. The staff treats you like family "elbows off the table... sit up straight...". You will have a great time while eating and visiting this venue.

It's home cooking with the best entertainment! You'll need a reservation to avoid a long wait but food was amazing - chicken noodle soup. pot roast, and fried chicken all winners at our table. Decorated like my Nana's house, black & white tv playing clips of 50's shows - just loved every bit of it. Our waitress, Cindy, just made... More

The waiter threw a bunch of straws on top of our table. I guess he thought he was being funny, no it wasn't funny at all. Maybe the thought of serving asian customers didn't bode to well for him. There was another table next to us (caucasian family from california , he was serving them too ). He was interacting... More

Is the decor a little over the top? Yep, but I like it. What really makes the experience is the wait staff. Anyone who has met Janice or one of her peers knows exactly what I mean. Sit up and get your elbows off the table. There is no messing around at her table! It's all in good fun though.... More

Very very disappointed last night. Service staff did not interact and play the "role" thats makes this a Disney destination not just dinner. Manager said some people were offended so they toned it down. I say they RUINED IT!

My family and I visited 50s Prime Time Cafe twice in one week because we loved it so much. The food was great both times and our servers were a lot of fun. Would definitely return and recommend as everything we ate on both visits was very tasty!

Janice "took care" of us, she was GREAT, I don't want to spoil the experience for anyone so I won't go into detail. The food was plentiful and tasty! We had the sampler plater and pot roast both were great, as we're the onion rings. Fried herb cheese appetizer is a MUST! The peanut butter - chocolate cake are to... More

The waitstaff made this dinner the most enjoyable part of Hollywood studios. The setting for the restaurant was quirky and made you feel like you were in a movie. The food was also very good. I had the pork chop. Although it was pricey it was well worth it.

We booked dinner on our last night in Florida here, we didnt know anything about it other than the sci-fi diner staff said it was fun! Well they were totally right, is a cross between a resturant and theatre. The food is good but the wait staff are brilliant, totally commited to their part and are so funny. Greatly recommend

Thank DeborahFH

50's Prime Time Café serves classic American comfort food in a TV-themed setting. The restaurant sits across from Echo Lake in Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park. The 50's Prime Time Café menu includes family favorites like golden fried chicken, traditional meatloaf and pot roast, cooked the way Mom used to make it—that is, if Mom were a 1950s sitcom star.Be welcomed into Mom's family and feel at home in her kitchenette. But Mom expects you to mind your manners, so don't be surprised if she tells you to keep your elbows off the table. It's all part of the old-fashioned fun and gentle ribbing that's served up along with the food.TV Tables and Tune-In LoungeFor a special treat at 50's Prime Time Café, grab a "TV Table" that seats up to 4 diners and has a television next to the table that broadcasts clips from popular prime time sitcoms circa 1955 including "Father Knows Best" and the original "Mickey Mouse Club."Bop into 50's Prime Time Café for lunch or dinner. Cocktails, wines by the glass and frosty beers are available from Mom for Guests 21 years of age and older, or relax in the Tune-In Lounge full-service bar and sip Dad's Electric Lemonade or Grandma's Picnic Punch. From the mid-50s knick-knacks and memorabilia that decorate this restaurant to the dessert menu displayed through viewfinder toys, nostalgia is the main ingredient at 50's Prime Time Café.
