My husband and I visit Sanibel ever year and on our list of to dos is to eat at RC Otters. Fish tacos for the hubby and Hanks grouper Reuben for me. Can't review any other menu items because that's what we order every time! The best on the island.

I had the french dip and it was wonderful. French dip was served with ruffles chips and a pickle. We also ordered fries and the crab cake mushrooms. Every item was delicious and they served coke products! Very cute little place to hang out on the porch. Not on the water but only 2 blocks from the beach. Very little... More

We stopped in on a beautiful island day and had a wonderful breakfast experience. We were seated outside. It is casual dining, plastic chairs and butcher paper for a table cloth. There is a roll of paper towels on the table for napkins. I had the eggs benedict which I try everywhere. Theirs was very good. Nice sauce, served with... More

Great conch fritters here, and plenty of good seafood. Service was excellent, and we enjoyed sitting on the porch of this quaint restaurant. Good live music made for a fun evening.

Saw the reviews on tripadvisor so went for breakfast. It was about 9am, only two other diners while the Key Lime bistro opposite was full, should have taken heed. Floor was really mucky, asked for an americano and he told me to go to the shop next door to get a takeaway which I had to have in a cardboard... More

I had the pleasure of eating breakfast here most days for a month. Everything(!) is beautifully prepared, and delicious. The crab cakes are very good, the eggs are beautifully poached, the omelets are excellent, the pancakes and burritos are delicious, and the fruit plates are bountiful, fresh and ripe. Life does not get much better than sitting in the sun... More

I've been there now twice. First time last year by a coincidence. This year we planed to come back again. Really nice casual place. Service always very kind and food is really very good. Especially the homemade crab cake. They also served us just scrambled eggs with bacon although it was not mentioned on the menu - without any problems.... More

I would go back here in a flash -- parking is very limited, but the menu is great. It is set back from the beach, so it would not be wonderful for the sunset crowd, but my shrimp salad was the best I have had on the island and my friend's fish tacos were delish (yes, I had a taste).... More

Driving up to Captiva from Sanibel which was a nice slow relaxing drive it was time to stop for lunch. We saw RC Otters and had to check it out and I am so glad we did. It has a small parking lot but there seemed to be parking around the area. It is a quaint and very neat place... More
