If your are a seafood lover, this is "the place" to dine in northwest Gainesville! I really am not a seafood person but they have other dishes. Their chicken breast with their peanut sauce is my favorite! My good friend drives 900 miles for their drunken Grouper. A bit expensive but considering the quality of the food, it is a... More

Salmon was cooked perfectly as was hubby's grouper. Slaw was sweet and creamy-my fav. Grilled veggies are an option if you have a shellfish allergy ( as French fries, sweet potato fries, hush puppies and seasonal apple fritter hushpuppies are all cooked in same oil as shrimp. ) will be back!!

Northwest has a good take out menu of extremely fresh seafood items. Northwest Seafood is a seafood store however they will cook your fresh seafood purchase for you. My favorite is the Captains Basket. Just a heads up this is not a sit down restaurant. Nice folks ,good fresh seafood.

Two locations to buy the absolute best fresh seafood, also helps if you are on their mailing list for their specials. The town of tioga location will occasionally have a lunch special and it is such a bargain and so fresh and good.

This place had the best fish in central florida. You have to get the fish dip. I go here a lot for the oysters. They do them perfectly and shuck them right in front of you. The will also cook up any fish you like any way you like. A perfect place for lunch.

We moved to the Town of Tioga in 1998 as our family expanded. One of the things we left behind was being about two miles away from Northwest Seafood in the Millhopper Plaza area. This made it slightly more difficult to get their outstanding seafood. However, we were very pleasantly surprised when a second Northwest Seafood opened in the Tioga... More

I think a couple of the reviews are confusing Northwest Grille (on 39th Ave. in Gainesville) with Northwest Seafood, which is a seafood store that, as a side service, will cook your fish for you. There are no tables and chairs -- IT'S A FISH STORE! This location is their second,, joining the original which is on 16th Blvd. in... More

Food and service are always great. Nice nautical type ambiance on the inside with lower lighting. Enjoy the fresh bread and butter that come with the meals. Desserts are also terrific. Definitely recommend.

Fresh and delicious fish of all varieties. Get on their email list if you're local.
