Had lunch here on a Saturday. Very busy but was easy to get table. Service was the best. Had two servers working our table and our area. They were both attentive and friendly. Food was great but more expensive than other seafood places in Miami that serve stone crab. Worth the price but must warn you crab is expensive. But... More

We love Maine lobster and the stone crab is a close 2nd, but served cold with mustard. The place has been open since 1912 so you feel a part of history with the dark paneling and black suited waitstaff. Food is very good but drinks are weak. Expensive but worth the experience.

My wife and I have not been back to Joe's Stone Crab since the 1960s. We decided to stop and have lunch with friends on the way back from Marathon. It was a weekday at lunch time and it was not as busy as I recall it being in the evening hours in the past. No Reservations and we were... More

We were looking to take a lunch break off the beach, and walked over to Joe's. 3 adults and 2 pre teens. We had a great variety of sandwiches, soups, and daily specials and can't recommend this enough. If you don't want to put on the nicer clothes, or linger over a longer meal, this is a terrific way to... More

I must visit when in Miami! They don't take reservations but the wait is quick. Best stone crab I've ever had! If you have room for dessert the brownie pie with ice cream is a must.

This place is the real deal. You can not make a reservation ahead of time and have to put yourself on a list at the front desk. When its busy you can tip the guy to move up the list and seat sooner. This is old school style, which adds to the atmosphere right out of the gate. This trip... More

As a Miami Beach resident for 16 years I must tell you this place is great. From the food to the vibe to the service. All good. If you are visiting Miami Beach just must be on tour to do list. My favorite dishes (outside of the stone 🦀) are, Mahi Mahi, fried chicken (a MUST) the steaks and the... More

My kind of place. Tablecloths, tuxes, great service, and the food was even better. Oysters- three each from MD, WA. Different from each other, but both wonderful. Crab legs - not lobster, but still great. Creamed spinach - as good as any, anywhere. Coleslaw - who needs mayo? Vinegar great. Key lime pie - as good as it gets. I'm... More

Joe's does not take reservations. We arrived around 6:30 on a Friday evening and were seated within 10 minutes. We ordered drinks at the bar and had to close out the tab before being seated. Ask to sit in the original dining room. You will find an impressive army of staff in crisp black suits emerge from the kitchen carrying... More
