We stopped here for a late dinner after having heard great things about the place. We could not have made a better choice! Delicious food, traditional Cuban, all topped with a fantastic dessert and a few Cuban coffees. An A+ service from our server and all the staff. I think it's a must for a lasting memory and a unique opportunity to taste original Cuban food, dessert and coffee.

Despite its great location and ambiance (the inside has more atmosphere than the outside), we found this to be a very expensive meal. Drinks and appetizers cost as much as entrees, so watch what you order. The food itself was average for Cuban food, which itself is pretty plebian, to begin with. Overall, too expensive for the experience. We would not return.

Excellent food and location! They have fans blowing directly at the tables which was amazing for us because we walked 1.2 miles from our Airbnb to eat and shop. I ordered the Cuban sandwich which is definitely big enough to share! My husband got the chicken soup which was so good and we also got the truffle yuca fries. I didn’t see these on the menu but another trip advisor reviewer posted so we decided to try! They were good but when we got the bill they were $10 which was a little much for the amount we got. As a starter they also give you plantain chips which were so good. Our bill was $69 with tip included for the soup, Cuban sandwich, yuca fries, two beers and a naranjada.

Pretty outside tables with lots of greenery . We enjoy stopping for happy hour mojito’s which never disappoints. At seven dollars each with lots of fresh lime, mint, sugarcane and Bacardi we are always happy. My South Beach & my husband’s mango mojito’s were cold & refreshing, the plantain chips were pretty good too!

A lady at one of the nearby stores gave us a copy of an ad where we could get a free mojito with any entree. Of course, we ended up with the waiter who tried to tell us that the ad was for another location. We had him ask the manager and we were told that only if we ordered one of two specific entrees. We ordered them, and got the drinks. The food would have been great if it had been served while it was still hot. Mr. Attitude gave me more attitude when I wanted $10 change back from a $50 bill for our $40 charge (which already had an 18% gratuity automatically added to it). Made for a lousy experience that was totally unnecessary. Too many fine places nearby to bother with this joint!

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch sitting outside at Havana 1957. My husband had the cubano sandwich and it was great and large. The fried plantains were freshly made and were wonderful. Everything in Miami is expensive, but it was filling and flavorful and fun to watch the world go by.

I've visited Havana 1957 several times and looked forward to the consistently good Cuban cuisine. Unfortunately it was a horrible experience. The hostess was wonderful and seated us as quickly as possible even though we had no reservation. Our server was friendly enough. but the kitchen staff was a hot mess... we waited 45 minutes for avocado toast and then another hour for our food. The main dishes were not brought out all at once; they brought one dish and it sat getting cold while we waited for the rest of our food. Even the server complained about how bad the kitchen was operating. The manager apologized for how badly it all went, and comped the drinks and apps, but the experience had already been ruined as we didn't get our food for well over 1.5 hours and were tired and starved by the time we were tended to. Do not come here hungry and expect a long wait; this location is poorly managed.

I would have preferred more variety in Cuban food selection but the meal I was served was indeed delicious. My wife's steak option was interesting with the pickled onions but she wasn't very impressed given her bland palate. I was confused by the mandatory 20% tip charge and on top of that a "resort" charge considering the restaurant is in a shopping strip. Minus one star for mandatory charges.

Exactly what I was expecting for a Cuban restaurant. The special of the house was my favorite dish, amazing flavor and the black beans just as my mam use to make. Service was attentive and very friendly and the waitress recommended the best dishes. I will come back for sure.

We wanted a Cuban style lunch and came across Havana 1957 off Lincoln Rd in Miami Beach. The server walked us through the menu and recommended several flavors of their mojitos plus which of the lunch options we might like. Terrific choice!

Havana 1957 is part of chain serving up Cuban cuisine at reasonable prices. This particular place is on Lincoln Road, a pedestrian road. Dined outside. Great place to people watch while dining. Food was good and service was excellent

In Toronto there are multiples cuban restaurants but nothing authentic like this,
we picked their signature chicken and had some "mojitos", too. Music was a little loud, especially for those who sit right in front. Everything was tasty and Fabio gave us an outstanding service. Definetely coming back next year ;)

My family and I come to South Beach twice a year for a mini getaway and our to go place to eat was always Havana 1957. We go to all locations: Lincoln Road, the one on Ocean Drive or the Española one. We had been loyal to your brand for about 8 years because we love your food and your amazing people. We recommend this restaurant to all our family and friends, but no anymore. Back in Dec 2020, We had such an amazing experience when I went with my relatives so we wanted to eat more from Havana 1957 Lincoln Road again for our trip last week April 2021.
Usually when you walk through Lincoln Road, you get greetings from many friendly restaurant staff from different restaurants trying to offer you the best service and food. The only restaurant that we did NOT get greeted and was ignored was Havana 1957. Your Hostess (skinny light skin, blonde girl dressed in all black) saw us standing next to her didn’t even bother saying “hi” at us. We were invisible in her eyes. Maybe because we don’t look rich? Or we aren’t old? After 5 mins standing in front of her, another of your female staff stood next to your hostess and guess what? We both pretended not to see us. What the heck? Is this a discrimination issue going on? Do I need to dress a particular way so I get noticed by your staff? Gucci, Prada, LV? What a shame. Honestly, you guys lost loyal customers because your staff failed miserably at offering common human touch. I am disappointed but glad I don’t have to encounter this kind of behavior ever again. Had read reviews and heard it was good. Ambiance and service (outside) did not disappoint. Canopies helped us escape the rain and Classico mojitos (happy hour special) and the Hemingway Special next to the fire warmed us right up. Cerviche was a perfect starter followed by yummy entrees: grilled steak with beans/rice and husband enjoyed the Cubano. Finished out the meal with chocolate cake which was delicious!! Our favorite part was the leisurely pace of our time there, we said we wanted to take our time and we were not rushed. Excellent spot for people watching and service was impeccable. We are at the senior citizen hour but it was a perfect way to have our dinner from 4-6pm.

The food, the service, just wow. This is my first stop whenever I’m in Miami, regardless of the season the food and service doesn’t change. I’d recommend everything on the menu, I’ve tried everything atleast once and was never disappointed. My server tonight was Michael, very attentive and so nice! He checked up on us, made sure we were taken care of and had a great time.
