Short walk over 41st street bridge. Free trolley green route passes by. Three stars for the fine food, four stars for cheap prices and 1.5 stars for restaurant atmosphere. We were very satisfied for lunch.

Summary: This neighborhood cafe has delicious cuban inspired food coupled with friendly, efficient service and reasonable prices, including beer and coffee. My friends and I decided to escape the Fontainebleau and find some casual dinner nearby. We found Latin Cafe. The menu specials change each day and they were out of a few of our choices. But ultimately, we settled... More

Went there yesterday with my boyfriend around 2 pm. The place wasn't too full but the available tables were filthy. It was pouring outside so we had to sit at one of those and ask the waitress to wipe it for us. The food honestly wasn't bad, my boyfriend really enjoyed the churrasco, but we pretty much had to chase... More

This cafe was about a 10 minute walk from the hotel and worth it. The steak with peppers and onions was simply delicious. The mixed rice and beans was the perfect side. Definitely the place to go for plenty of food that won't break your pocket like many of the places in Miami Beach. Didn't get 5 because waitress never... More

The pork steak was awesome with the bitter onions. This cafe is worth every cent. Cheap and easy too. Thanks

I have never had a bad meal here. Cubano sandwich is great, roast pork sandwich is good, Cuban coffee is good. Been here 4 times this week alone.

Latin Cafe Solid and economical Cuban Cuisine on the Beach alleviating the need to cross the causeway so frequently. Start early > end early at this comfort food cafe. Usually buzzing it's so busy. Haven't had a bad meal here ever and have been going for plus ten years!

Accidentally found this little place. The empanadas were packed full of flavor and very well priced. The rice and beans and the Puerco Asado was delicious. I don't think you can find a better, authentic restaurant in this area. The prices were more than reasonable and the service great.

Well, its cheap and cheerful. The food came in large portions, but the green plantain was nowhere near ripe enough.
