I have frequented the restaurant three times during my three night stay at the Double Tree Hotel. This just tells you how content I was with the food, price, as well as service. I tried the burger, the calamari, the pizza, and the beef spaghetti....It was all good except for the lack of salt in most dishes. I would definitely recommend it!More

Wasn't aware that this was a good Italian resto. Had a quick burger and beer here. Service was good. Burger was average while the fries were battered, which I couldn't finish. Outdoor seating was the big selling point. $35 for 2 beers and burger/fries. Next...time, i'll just have the beers and pass on the burger.More

I’ve been to Italy three times and this Honduran chef has them all beat. Chicken piccata and veal Marsala were simply outstanding!!! I can’t say enough how great this meal was...terrific!

Within walking distance of the Marriot Key Biscane, we went sort of by default. We four were seated in a comfortable cozy lounge. Menus came quickly, drink orders were taken, we sat back to relax. Freshly baked crusty bread appeared, not with the usual olive...oil but an aged balsamic vinegar for dipping. Delicious! I ordered bruscetta which came with fresh tomatoes and a type of soft cheese. Also very good. I ordered the seafood Diavolo with a request that the octopus be omitted from my serving, which did happen. I know this sounds corny but honestly I can still taste that first bite. It was the best pasta I have ever had. I don't have flowerly language to describe it except to say that it was perfectly cooked and perfectly flavored. I don't remember what my tablemates ordered but they also said it was the best Italian food they remembered eating.More

The food was amazing. My family all loved their meals. It had delicious flavor. Often, spaghetti sauce is bland but their sauce was amazing. Their rustic Italian bread was fresh. We went back for breakfast and again, were not disappointed. The waitstaff is super friendly...and attentive. Would recommend this restaurant.More

Although they were very busy, service was very attentive. The antipasto platter was wonderful with the meats, cheese, olives and nuts. The Primo pizza qualifies as one of the best pizzas I have ever had.

Dined here on a Tuesday evening pre-cruise. Were seated about 6pm and the place was not very busy. Received our drinks and placed our order fairly quickly. The place filled up very quickly thereafter and between the noise of the crowd and the music you...could hardly hear yourself think. Bench seat became very uncomfortable after a while and we waited over 45 minutes for our order. It seemed other tables got their orders prior to us which was annoying. I recall we had at least four different waiters and nobody seemed to be paying attention to us. I finally corralled one and asked about our order - we then received it about two minutes later. Food was very, very average. My wife had lasagna and I had spaghetti which shouldn't have taken the time we had to wait. The noise and cramped quarters between tables plus the bland food and indifferent service prevents me from recommending this place.More

My wife and I ate here the night before the Miami Marathon to carb load. She had a primavera with vegetables that was really tasty. I had spaghetti with marinara that had no flavor. Service was ok. Restaurant is small and dark.

Ate here while staying at the DoubleTree last month. The food was OK but that the best I can say about it. The place is over crowded with less than two feet between tables, no privacy at all. Wait staff seem rushed and only interested...in getting you out quickly if you're not pounding back the drinks. I ordered a pizza and at about 2/3 of it. When I was done, a waiter (no ours) picked up my plate an took it. I was expecting that this was to box the remainder to go........no chance. The pizza never returned and when I inquired I was told that it had been thrown out. This is just simply poor practice.More

Stayed at the Marriott next door the night before a cruise and had seen a few good reviews online about Primo's. So very happy that we went. Yes, as some have stated, you might be seated in "lobby" area as the restuarant itself is small....The BEST meatballs! Service and all entrees were excellent! Actually stayed at same hotel a week later after getting off the ship. We came back for breakfast, also wonderful. Don't be deterred by the fact that this place is in a hotel lobbyMore
