Good food, service so and so. A bit sleepy as waiting staff. Would go back for the food not for the rest.

Went with friends and great for a group. Good food, good service, good cocktails. Try the Brussel Sprouts with Soy and Orange for an unexpected delight - we ordered 3 portions in the end!
We joined friends for dinner at Sugarcane and had a fabulous time amongst all the great food. The environment was fun and festive-- I loved the entryway: so inviting! We shared many dishes; among them the yellowtail jalapeño, the scallop ceviche, the Florida snapper ceviche, the seared octopus, the cobia and quinoa, and the crab roll. I'm not even sure... More
We came early and ate a delicious brunch at Sugarcane. Zoltan was an excellent server, and the food came out fast. Although we ate inside, the outdoor garden looked very nice as well. Some of our favorite dishes included bacon wrapped dates, tuna tartare crudo, and cheese croquettes. However, the family favorite were the delicious beignets. I would highly recommend.
Sugarcane is definitely the hip and trendy place to be on the weekends. We were a party of ~18 and were seated in a nice, private area. As it was quite late when we arrived (10:30pm-ish) I had just a sushi roll which was quite good, but can't speak to the other food options (my friends all enjoyed their meals... More
In spite of a reservation for 6 (we turned out to be 7) we waited for about 30 minutes before being seated. They just added a single seat at the end of the original 6-person table - very crowded. The restaurant is terribly noisy and, apparently, frequently full. But the food is excellent. Is it worth it?
The excellent of everything!! Tried this their new sushi roll "Midtown Rainbow Roll" which has cooked soft octopus in it. The chumichuri sauce gives it a great flavor!! Also this dessert "Torrejas Toast"!! OMG You gotta have it!!
I've dined at this restaurant dozens of times and loved it most of the time! The only time I had a bad experience was once with their manager James who was being rude to me and my party. Besides him, this restaurant is perfect. The quality of food is superb! The drinks are tasty and the ambiance is one of... More
I saw all the great reviews expecting to be wowed! I called ahead and asked if walk ins are allowed and I was told of course. So an hour later my boyfriend and I arrive (it's my birthday and our anniversary). We sat down with our menus nonone told us if any one will be right with you like any... More
Based on a friend's recommendation, I visited Sugarcane with my wife and 11 year old. And we all had a blast. The vibe was brilliant, Mike our waiter was friendly and very helpful. My son had a burger, what else do they eat at that age. My wife and I had a mixture of dishes to share. The goat cheese... More
