Lester's is local chain, they started in 1957 on Hwy 84, I have eaten @ all 4 locations, this one on Coconut Creek is closest to my home. They follow Covid 19 procedures, very good staff, parking. Susan & I enjoyed breakfast w/coffee.

This place is a regular haunt of the family and so they took us along to experience an 'old fashioned diner' and what a joy it was. Very retro looking from the decor to the seats - the only thing missing was the juke box!
Patti was our host and did a fine job in serving us. The food was decisious and plentiful and loved the free soda refill too. I even took a slice of red velvet cake to go which was just as delicious when I ate it later on.
Will definitely be back the next time we are in Florida!

I’ve eaten at Lester’s Diner in Margate 5 times since early 2020. The most recent was late Tuesday afternoon, 8/30/2022. I was there with my sister, who is extremely picky about restaurants, and even she had no gripes with Lester’s. I’ve never had a bad experience there. To the contrary, I only have positive things to say! The food has always been plentiful, fresh and delicious, the service quick, friendly and attentive, and I’ve never encountered a problem with the restrooms. I will definitely return to Lester’s Diner!

Today’s egg white omelette had way too many egg whites and pretty skimpy cheese. Toast was hard and it was replaced. Earlier in the week I had the chicken parm. Usually so delicious, this time put me in the bathroom for three days. The turkey burger is not turkey, it’s turkey mixed with veggies. Yuck. And the chicken salad has hard dry chunks, the chicken either old or overcooked. BUT, if it’s fresh, the chocolate fudge cake is outrageous - all 9,000,000 calories!

Management is terrible.
They need to bring back Andrew & Carline.
The place is filthy - roaches running around - I've seen them with the manager - he's killing them while I watched.
Bathrooms are filthy.
I've been going there since the 90's.
The place has been going down hill.
They have four good employees Carla, Heather, Guy & Lisa.
The rest of the staff I wouldn't give them a mop job..
The owner Peter should talk to the customers as to how to improve the restaurant

This is your classic diner! I would never have know it was not a privately owned diner, meaning there is more than one.
The service was great, food was fantastic and prices were reasonable.
Couldn’t ask for a better breakfast experience. Definitely don’t pass up the opportunity to eat here if you are in the area!!! Carla, our server, was lovely!

We liked it so much the first day we went for dinner, we came back the very next day for breakfast. Staff is very friendly. Easy parking. always busy. They have a bakery at checkout. Everything was good from the dinner salads to my cheeseburger, which I couldn't finish. I think it was 1lb. Both wife and I like it. We are going back this weekend. Oh, Really cool diner feel to it which we have been looking for since we moved down.

Well we go there every weekend. The food is excellent and the whole staff is wonderful. Danielle is the best we ask for her all the time. Wy wife had stuffed mushrooms and I had the open face hot turkey platter. Can’t say enough about your establishment. The food is amazing and always consistent. Prices are very reasonable and we will keep coming back again and again. Please let Danielle know how much of a great job she does. You should be proud to have her as a waitress and part of your establishment. We will see you next weekend. Butch and Bonnie. Thank you for taking the time to read our review. I went to Lester's the first time a few years ago. That visit was just ok. The food was ok and the place needed a MAJOR renovation to bring it up to par. Little to say, the improvements from a few years ago to today are absolutely astounding!! The food today was ridiculously good. Absolutely amazingly delicious. And my son told me that Lester's ranks VERY high in his book. I had the Chicken Parm and side salad with Blue Cheese dressing. Everything at Lester's is fresh made and absolutely delicious. Years ago, I would have told you to go somewhere else, but now you MUST try Lester's. You go there once and you will go again because it is so good.

Food has gone down hill. Ordered a medium hamburger for take-out. Hamburger was well done, bun and french fries not as good as they used to be, just fair. Couldn't eat the burger at all.

This is best diner I have ever been to. The food, service, order accuracy and quick delivery of our food was excellent.

We enjoyed this restaurant thanks to others who have also reviewed it. It is a sleeper that could be easily passed by if you aren't from the area. We had a great breakfast with ALL of the trimmings and a great waitress who kept the coffee coming and gave us great service. WHat else could you ask for?? Also noticed that locals are using this place for their take out lunches--that says a lot for the place--reliable and trustworthy!

The staff was friendly! My son had breakfast and said it was great. My husband had chicken salad sandwich and said it was amazing. I had a burger and fries and it was good. We will definitely go back again.

Went there for lunch, just ok but the men's bathroom was disgusting and in need of serious attention all because of very non caring patrons, I know that but the staff should keep on top of it.
I mentioned it to the cashier when paying my check, she said she had no jurisdiction over that and I knew it, meanwhile the owner/ manager next to her didn't even lift his nose to acknowledge me, he was too busy counting money.
