Like the friendly family feel of the place and the food seems authentic and tasty. We’ve returned several times and brought friends. We’ve all been happy. Only beer or wine but mock tails are delish , too!

Excellent little Mexican restaurant with authentic cuisine and an authentic vibe. Friendly service. Not situated in a touristy area, so it’s a place where locals go. If you’re a big eater, this might not suit you because portions are regular rather than “man sized”. Suited...us perfectly. Highly recommended.More

The steak fajitas were outstanding. We also had the trio, the chili relleno, enchiladas and taco. Outstanding beans, too. Highly recommended!

Went with friends who raves about this place as being great Ordered our meals and all came out. I ordered tacos, steak and pork. They came out best room temperature. Told the waitress she seemed indifferent to the dish. Didn’t eat 1/3 of it. She...took my plate and had the audacity to bring me the check. Paid and left will Never darken their door again.More

I went because I’m looking for Mexican food and I was told this place is great. Wrong ok, but not great. Chips were oily and the sauce had no heat to it. Very bland and the Salsa was like tomato sauce with onions and cilantro....I like my Mexican food hot and full of flavor. Maybe the Fajitas are good or the one of the other dishes.More

Do not let the location fool you. This is hands down the best AUTHENTIC MEXICAN restaurant in the area. You have to stop in. If you have spent any time in real mexico, then this is the place for you. Do not come here looking...for texmex or American Mexican. This is authentic. They serve their tacos the authentic way (onion radish and cilantro). I ordered the Chilaquiles and it was just like the one I have at Chilaquiles in Guadalajra. The chorizo had the perfect spice and not a lot of grease. The Roja sauce was very good. I will try the Verde next time. Chicken tamale was one of the best I have had. Salsa and chips are also spot on. Finished off the meal with flan. It was good. Service was very attentive and food came out piping hot.More

Typical Mexican food and flavors with average prices for a dive. I got it togo and unfortunately, it wasn't very hot when received-the cheese dip was already congealed and getting heard in a mangled box. And this was once I got into the car! Very...nice. It was fine, just needed a utensil to eat it. The chips were good and they gave one for each dip. Guac was good, but not any better than average. Small portion, but a lower price. The weird thing was the whole slice of tomato (the butt that you throw away) in the middle to fill it up and make it look like there's more in the container. An unappreciated trick of deception. Now, many Mexican restaurants give chips and salsa for all orders. They did not. Which is fine, but there wasn't an option on the menu for it. Not very smart of them if you ask me. They also had some issues with my order, so one would think they would throw in something for the long wait time. Eh, whatever. The barbacoa tacos were okay. On a scale of 1-flavortown, they were about a 5/6. I wished they had a sauce/salsa to put on them. A lot of places have a salsa verde or provide options if you want a little kick to your tacos. Mine needed it to help the lack of flavor. It not a bad restaurant by any means, but with all of the Mexican restaurants in the area, I don't think I'd return so soon.More

We were looking for an authentic mexican restaurant and found this one online. We were very hesitant about going in once we pulled up. We were very glad we decided to give it a try. The food was fantastic and authentic. There appeared to be...many locals in there and as they say; "eat where the locals eat" when on vacation. The service was a little slow and the food did not come out on a hot plate as is the case in many mexican establishments but it was very good.More

My husband and I had an early supper here. The salsa was amazingly delicious. Our enchiladas were good, but not overly warm from the kitchen. Generous portions and ingredients tasted fresh. Our server was very pleasant and informative. The dining area and bathroom were both...clean.More

Pulling up outside we were a bit tentative. Other reviews raved so we went in. The food was outstanding and authentic. I ordered a chimichanga which often feels heavy, like a brick ended up in your stomach. Here, tasty and light. Highly recommend this place

My wife and I like to support our local family restaurants. This place is a little Gem just South of Earl Stewart Toyota. The servers are quick and the food comes out hot. We have tried several dishes and found them all to be yummy....The home made salsa is fantastic and we bought a large container of it to take home. It’s a small place and the cold beer goes well with the fajitas.More

If you want a great tasting authentic meal come here. They just serve beer but the meals are 2/3 the price of the other Spanish restaurant on us 1. Service was great and and we took food home!
