Went there our first weekend in town. It's so-so. Not bad, but certainly not great, for the prices they charge

Food was average for the keys, a bit overpriced but expected in a touristic area. Portions were good, flavor was fine server was professionall, nice waterfront views, happy hour on drinks that had to be ordered at the bar. However, I couldn't get over the...More
Awesome mix of rustic and modern setting. Kathleen went out of her way to make sure we had a great memorable experience. Food was good.
The Sushi wasn't bad but it was not great. The Seafood was borderline terrible. They charge extra for everything. They use way too much heavy whipping cream on everything. Save your money, there are better places to go at much better prices.

There is something for everyone on this menu. Basic standards and unbelievable specials! Clean restaurant and awesome and attentive staff. The sushi is the best in the Keys. You haven't truly enjoyed Marathon until you spend a mealtime at Castaway!
