I was very impressed by Barracuda Grill. Every night their menu changes (and is fairly brief) always a good sign. We had the short ribs, the roast duckling, the cheese spread appetizer (with great pickles!) and wonderful home made salad dressings. All top notch. The place is filled with barracuda themed are. The restaurant is only open Wed - Saturday,... More

Had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant with my wife. Have to say it exceeded my expectations for I had been looking for a hot spicy Fra Diablo for sometime. Barracuda definitely had it and it was awesome. Below is a picture. My wife had the grilled snapper which was also awesome. Stephanie our waitress was superb so nice and... More

My wife and i went to the Barracuda Grill while spending 10 days in the Keys. It was the best meal we've had while here and one of the best meals I've had at a restaurant. I had the maple bacon shrimp nibbles appetizer. The taste was incredible and there was enough in the serving for four people. My wife... More

I am a huge TripAdvisor fan, but I don't often write reviews. I will if a place is just terrible, and should be avoided. Or if I find somewhere exceptional. Barracuda Grill fits into the latter category. First you should know that they open precisely at 5:55. I found this out when I arrived around 5:30 and had to sit... More

This is rated the number 2 restaurant...but I would put it at number one. Menu is extensive. The wine list is a bit on the pricey side, but offers a good selection. Go for the food. Prepared and served with attention. Absolutely savored every bit of the yellow tail...with just a hint of spice. Don't miss this place. I've been... More

The restaurant is decorated with barracuda photos and art. I think we counted 60+ The menu is small yet has variety to please different tastes. We ordered the shrimp and bacon appetizer along with the fried brussel sprouts. I was expected the brussel sprouts to be deep fried and was pleasantly surprised to find they were pan fried in a... Eight of us waited in the parking lot for nearly 40 minutes talking about all the other places we could have gone before our name was finally called. Stephanie was our waitress and she couldn't have been nicer. We ordered drinks and a few appetizers and finally decided on our meals. No draught beers turns out as our only complaint... More

The original definition of a restaurant used to be: owners cooking for their guests and extending the personal touch to their time at the joint, serving great food, wines, beers and having personal conversations, time allowing. That's why they come back! And that's what we attempt to do every evening that we serve dinner. Our great servers get to know you and handle the conversation when we are frankly too busy to leave the kitchen at times. After 22 years of service, I think we are going to make it!! Thank you to all that have graced our little spot over years, thanks a million!! Lance and Jan Hill, Chefs/Owners (and by the way, we love kids, have a few of our own, and provide a special menu just for them!) Please check Victoria Shearer's new book that just came out: Florida Keys & Key West Chef's Table, to grab a recipe or two :) Our menu is updated and printed daily. As a side note: we are not the least expensive restaurant in town, nor are we the most expensive. We provide an honest example of the expense to this site for your comparison (unlike some). And the menu is hung just outside the front door. We do not automatically add a gratuity as routine. In this life I've found, you truly get what you pay for. At Barracuda Grill we respect that adage, respect your business and attempt to earn it every night we offer service (Wednesday thru Saturday). PS. We are in the twilight of our cooking careers and look forward to serving you very soon!
