We tried the key lime pie which we both loved since it had just the right amount of sweetness abs tartness. We also had the key lime vodka pound cake which was yummy as well. We bought the key lime steak sauce but haven’t used...it yet. The shop was really cute and the staff friendly.More
Rude staff made our experience not as enjoyable as it could have been. The pie was good. We tried a piece of key lime and a dipped piece on a stick. They were tasty but overall it seemed too commercialized. The guy who served us...was not helpful or friendly. The garden area was nice but I wouldn’t seek it out next time we’re there.More
This is the best place for Key Lime Pie! It is smooth and rich. There is a little garden and koi pond out back to sit and enjoy the pie, but not much of a breeze, so I’d take the pie to go. Friendly and...helpful staff make this a definite stop!More
My Gf and i got a whole key lime pie from here. I thought it was awesome. My GF didn't care for it too much as she thought it was too tart. That was fine with me as I got to eat the rest of the...pie. LOLMore
Kermit's is a Key West staple I had heard about even before visiting. Their key lime pie is delicious (tart, smooth) and they sell a plethora of other key lime-flavored goods. If you are not planning to leave the island to see the other keyes,...this is the place for you. However, I will say that it WAS NOT my favorite key lime pie in all of the keyes - that award goes to the Blonde Giraffe in Tavernier - if you're driving the Overseas Highway, stop there and then compare it to Kermit's - the difference is pretty dramatic. But in Key West proper, this is your place to go.
My only suggestion is that if you want to buy a travel-friendly pie at Kermit's (Blonde Giraffe does not sell them), don't wait until the last minute! I tried to buy one on my last day and they were out of them.More
This little unprecedented shop is paradise. The flavors, pies, products and merchandise are still high quality and unchanged. The key lime is still the very best ever anywhere!!! I am so glad this little shop never went away. So many things did during 2008 to...2015 around the country. so much charm and independent shops like this just disintegrated during that time period. So happy Kermits is still around!!More
Not big dessert eaters, but we always have to stop in here and get a frozen chocolate covered piece of key lime pie on a stick. It’s incredible! You have to have a bite at least. We always get 1 piece and all share it.
I tried the white chocolate strawberry key lime pie. The white chocolate was decadent! I enjoyed the strawberry key lime pie, but prefer original. Still a lovely delicious treat. Wish they had regular dipped in white chocolate!

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the shipping was about $20.00 maybe a little more. We were going to ship one home to my parents, so we looked into that, but just can't remember. The shipping was more than the pie was, I do... More
