Awesome little side of the road place to stop in. Awesome atmosphere and great seafood. The Conch Fritters are awesome. Drinks are reasonable. Canal runs right behind the restaurant with water on both sides of the road. Will probably eat here again before we go back home.

We stopped on the way back from The Keys. Great ambience, live music, and good food. We had the coconut shrimp - excellent! - and the conch fritter - not our favorite, but apparently one of the best. Sides were all delicious. Service was friendly.

My Husband and I decided that on our way to Key West, we were going to stop in different places and try the conchs. Starting in Florida City on down, we realized that besides the conch fritter cart on Mallory Square, this place had the best ! we sat on the waterside, had nice cold beer and enjoyed our fritters.... My wife and kids have been going to Alabama Jack's for many years. It's been consistent over all this time: great drinks, good food, great service, great atmosphere. A very cool place to go on a weekend day for a couple beers and bar food. Not so sure about nights because it's quite a drive on some narrow dark roads.... More

We've been to Alabama Jacks several times. It is always a great place to hang out for awhile. Parking can be a little tough and there is a dock to land your boat if you come through the bay. This is a real joint so don't expect health food and fine dining. The plates are full and most of what... More

This is our usual stop on our drive to Key West. A visit to Alabama Jack's really says "relax, have a beer, eat some conch, and begin your vacation." Yes, its a mindset, and a good one. Greasy food? Yup. Don't come for healthy options. Well, physical options. As far as a good mental option, it doesn't get any better... More

We stopped based on reviews online. The view and atmosphere were great. The people were very friendly and service was good. The food was a deep fried combination of breading and lots of grease. Some people will love it. We are focused on healthy eating and did not enjoy it as much as others may. Plates were plentiful and prices... More

When we travel to the Keys we always stop at Alabama Jacks . Really like the crab cakes and conch fritters. It's nice to overlook the water and listen to the music.

Our bartender in Islamorada recommended that we stop at Alabama Jacks on our way back to Miami and we are so glad he did. It was a bit out of the way, out in the middle of nowhere but the drive was lovely and unique. Conch fritters were yummy! good margaritas and conch salad was good. Service was a bit... More

We try to stop at a new place each time we drive down to Key West. Alabama Jacks' always shows up on the best bars searches. Slightly out of the way, but totally worth the trip. Of course, we ordered the conch fritter. I have no idea if it's the best, but it was tasty. Possibly a bit overcooked. The... More
