Went back to visit our "regular" place and found the chef has moved on. The parking lot was unusually quiet. While the food was still good, it was lacking in the flair and spice we had grown fond of. It was Friday so the fish fry was on. My husband ordered blackened fish with the up-charge for Black beans and... More

Absolutely worth going to. Had all u can eat Mahi Mahi Friday night $13.99. Very good - light beer batter. Sat night the prime rib($18.99 ) was to perfection! The visitors center tells everyone to go to the tourist trap places where you will spend a lot more $ and get a lot less. This is the place to go.... More

On a Dads trip we got skunked on diving because of the conditions, this place is adjacent to the Horizon Divers docks so we went in. Another great local Florida bar and restaurant! Do not miss if in the area.

Simple Paradise! Very relaxing environment! Sat outside under the shade and breeze. Very friendly waitress and to top it off the food was fabulous! I had a Mahi Rueben, conch fritters and sweet potato fries. My husband had the best New England clam chowder! The Onion rings a little greasy. I'll definitely go back on my next visit.

For four years we have made Shipwreck's a regular stop. We make this the place to go with our own fish. The occasion this year was after a day of fishing with George Clark, Jr out of Rodeo Charters, with daughter and husband,10 yr old twins, and 12 yr old grandson. We just handed them a bag of Hogfish, sea... More

We paddled our kayaks and launched just a few yards away....came upon this place afterwards for a cold brew and lunch. There were 6 of us and we all enjoyed our meals. Funky little place with dollar bills pasted on the walls. We sat outside in the screened patio. Friendly service and fair prices. Great Thai chicken tenders!

Things started out good with reading good reviews, that's why we came to Shipwreck's. We sat outside and our drink order was taken right away by one gal. Another gal brought our drinks and looked at us crazy when we asked for some water, but did bring it to us, then another gal took our food order and later a... More

We needed a place to go before visiting coral reef. This is a fun little place with $1 bills all over the place. It has outdoor seating but it was closed. The restrooms are outside too. There were only two servers so they alternated. They didn't have a cocktail menu just beer and some wine. We asked for a sample... More

The atmosphere this time of year is perfect. Outside deck on the water, wait staff very nice. Service gets a little slow when it is really busy. Have been there twice in the last 2 weeks. Both times the food was great, service was fine but the place was not packed.

Shipwrecks is one of these places, typical for Florida, which you wouldn't necessarily decide to try out based on looks. But it was recommended by a local and it was great. Really tasty food, friendly service and a happy hour truly worthy of the name. We were there two out of three nights we spent in Key Largo.
