Just finishing breakfast at Docs and let me tell you it was delicious affordable and a very friendly atmosphere. I believe this is a local spot in fact it was so local we got to meet the owner and chat with him for a few...minutes. I am visiting on a trip with my 83 old dad and friend. Doc was so nice to chat with us for a few minutes. He use to be the president of The Key Largo Lions Club back in the 1970s. Hope he visits our Hollywood Lions Club when he travels off the island. We're love to have him. BIG ROAR
if you are looking for a Great place to eat breakfast, this is definitely it!More
In our last day in Key Largo we found this place online and decided to eat breakfast here. It was the best breakfast over our two week trip without fail. The place doesn’t look much from the outside, but, as usual, you shouldn’t judge a...book from its cover. My daughter had Mickey pancakes, I had gravy and biscuits and my wife had the Key Largo Benedict. Our server (a Spanish lady although I’ve forgotten her name!) was so friendly and hard working. Businesses like this need as much support as possible in the day and age of Denny’s and iHop which is rubbish in comparison - well done all.More
The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because I only ordered a cinnamon roll. It was huge, delicious and by far the best I’ve ever had. My husband enjoyed his breakfast as well. Service was great. Typical diner atmosphere. Our second favorite...breakfast in Key Largo.More
Leaving South Beach for Key West, we decided Key Largo would be a good stop for gas and breakfast. Docs got good reviews, so we pulled in. The breakfast menu was outrageous, but we were conservative and had scrambled eggs, grits, pancakes, sausage. And then...we watched the other dishes go by and wished we had been more adventuresome. So on the way back north, we stopped again and this time tried one of their specials. Hash browns, covered by salsa, taco meat, cheese and two basted eggs. Absolutely fantastic but way too much. If we weren’t driving, we could have taken half home. The place was busy both times and not just locals. Great staff too!More
Read about Doc’s Diner, a very local place, on Trip Advisor and stopped for a late breakfast. The ladies who work there were amazingly pleasant, fun, and delightful. Food came out quickly and was very good. Would definitely recommend.
