Enjoyed my El-jerko salad. Tasty salad for $12. Quiet for lunch on a Wednesday. Service was good; attentive and not cloying. Looks like they have an extensive menu of Latin Tapas, salads, rice bowls and entrees.

Throughly enjoyed our visit to Emiliano's! The staff is very knowledgeable about the food and drink menus. The menu offerings are a pleasent treat from the norm. Be sure to swing by, you won't be disappointed.

Our daughter and family met us there for my wife's birthday. Very friendly service, and excellent latin food. Not too many places do this right. We had "Ropa Vieja" and another Spanish dish. The waiter treated my wife to a very chocolate cake for her birthday dessert. Parking is always a problem in this area, so plan to park in... More

Emiliano's is a go-to place for big city food in a small university town. Atmosphere is great, service is professional, food is varied and fantastic. Many tapas to choose from and $1 off each before 7pm. Prices are still reasonable. Open for 25 years, this Cuban/Spanish place does it right. One drawback: smoking seems allowed on the sidewalk patio. Wicker... More

I love Emiliano's. For brunch I typically get one of their eggs Benedict varieties and a nice Cuban coffee. They have great tapas (especially the tostones) that are excellent for sharing during a casual lunch or dinner. Their main dishes are excellent as well--I always order the pinon (my personal favorite). They always rotate their tapas/main dish menus which keeps... More

Three friends and I biked the Hawthorne to Gainesville trail and ended up downtown looking for a lunch spot. We stumbled upon Emiliano's and were in for a treat.! Service was excellent and all our meals were delicious. We will be back.

I wouldn't like to give the tag of Spanish restaurant to Emiliano's. When I read tapas, paella, etc., at the menu, I supposed that maybe this restaurant would approach me to home. Despite the ingredients of the paella were far from being the ones from the classical one (so therefore it would be better to call it rice with whatever),... More

Went to eat there while dropping my son off for college. The mofongo he ordered was very good. I ordered the pork shanks in garlic, I must say they were delicious. The pork was very tender and tasty and the tostones that came along with it were very good. Very reasonable prices.

Our son requested that we meet him at Emiliano's for lunch. We were enjoying the warm, sunny weather in Florida, having come down fro frigid Philly, where the low temps and wind chill was down near zero the week before. So sitting in on the patio and basking in the warmth was a rare treat! The food was served by... More

I lived in Gainesville for 4 years back in the late 90s and somehow I never knew about this place until last night. I feel like I've been missing out! My girlfriend took me here for my birthday dinner because she knows I love Latin food. I got the Churrasca steak and it was awesome. Had a couple of beers,... More
