They have delicious seafood! The restaurant is pricey but you get a lot of food. The Grouper Matanza was fabulous!

Excellent service led to 15 dollar stuffed shrimp, delicious bread and happy hour cocktails. Topped the meal with Creme brûlée. Delicious delight.

Just love this restaurant. Their food is the best in all of southern Florida. No. 1 Shrimp Cocktail. In fact, it is so good that we buy pounds of it to take home with us. They have “Happy Hour” from 4 to7 with the most...More

Visited in early April. Service was terrific, but that was about the best i can say. Food was just ok. Happy hour was only $1 off wine. Expected much more. If in the area, Stillwaters next door is so much better.

This place has been here a long time, and has built up a very loyal following. If you have dinner before 5:30pm, the entrees are a bargain. But this place seems busy all the time! So the big four: Service was exceptional. Wayne was very...More

Staff was very pleasant. Our waitress was prompt and courteous. They tend to flip tables as soon as they can. Food flys out of the kitchen. I ordered raw oysters as an appetizer. I wished that they took the time to clean and shuck them...More

Food was ok, not great. Service good but way too rushed. They want you in and out quickly. It was fine but I’m not rushing back.

We made our pilgrimage to Prawnbrokers with 8 guests. We were seated just inside the front entrance, not the best spot (due to the constant stream of guests in and out) but the restaurant was full so no chance of moving. We’ve had better tables...More

Description
Walking through the front doors, guests are greeted by the in-house seafood market, where the Prawnbroker showcases their specially chosen fresh fillets of fish and beef, hand-cut on premise, that are sure to tempt the palates of all. To emphasize their commitment to buying local and bringing you the freshest seafood Ft. Myers has to offer, you'll find our hand picked selection straight from the local waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Here you'll get a peek at the sumptuous fare that you'll soon be enjoying from their comfortable yet elegant dining room. Feast your eyes on mouth-watering Snapper, Gulf Shrimp, Softshell Crabs, Mahi Mahi, and the best Grouper Florida has to offer. Small tubs of pale pink creamy shrimp bisque stand in line next to bases for both kinds of chowder - New England style being what the restaurant is most famous for, a nod to the original owners' home region. Diners consistently return to enjoy these favorites plus the greatest Florida Stone crabs (in season) and Maine Lobsters.
