Food good and not the same old thing you find everywhere else. Enjoyed the chicken. The rice was tasty. Nothing to criticize.

We ate here based on reviews and proximity to a friends hotel. We were the only customers in this tiny place for 2 hours so service was very good. This restaurant is owned by a sweet woman from Haiti and it seems all of the...food is prepared in her authentic Caribbean style. The proportions are very good. The options are mainly meat dishes (pork, chicken etc.) My sister had the turkey meal and to be honest....we all questioned what type of turkey it was because we have never seen anything quite like it. I wasn't a huge fan of the food, but it was fun to try something new and support a woman run business. Keep in mind that chicken fingers and fries is the only American option for those who aren't as adventurous.More
Highly rated and close to my hotel so I gave it a try. It's part of a strip mall and is a plain interior. Small menu, but interesting choices. I was recommended the fried pork so I gave it a try. Very tasty, but lots...of fat and some bone. The bean soup what came with it was good as well. Worth a try.More
We stopped at O'Deeny's for a quick lunch while visiting the area to see the Everglades. It's tucked in a strip mall and there are only about 8 tables so it's small. Our adult kids had never had Caribbean fare and the Google reviews for...this place were glowing so we tried it. We were not disappointed. Everything we ordered was delicious and the owner was so friendly and attentive. Thanks Deena for a great experience!More
Stopped here for dinner one night with friends. Small spot but good food. Staff were friendly. Food was excellent. We tried a variety of appetizers and entrees. Everything was delicious. We definitely enjoyed the meal.
The food was fantastic. I had conch fritters and the oxtail. It is not easy to find (trust your GPS) and when I did find it I wasn't sure it was open. I almost drove away but I'm so glad I didn't, I spent the...day travelling and this meal was a perfect end to the day. It looks to be a family run restaurant and everyone was very friendly. There aren't very many tables to eat in but they also do take out. If you're in town, do yourself, and you're stomach a favor, and grab some food here.More
This is a terrific little spot for fabulous, low-cost food. The four of us enjoyed each dish and shared each so we tasted everything. I think our favorite was the jerk chicken but we ate every bite of everything. It's small, cozy, relaxed, and fun.
This restaurant has awesome Caribbean food. I had the jerk chicken and ox tail. The food had excellent flavor and the right amounts of salt and spice. The service was friendly and quick. Try the pickling if you’re into some extra spice.
A little hard to find in a strip mall between a Montessori school and a bakery...this little gem is one of those places you wish you'd found years ago. We were greeted by the owner who immediately seated us, explained the menu, and took our...order. The food is listed as 'Caribbean and Haitian' on the front window, and that is exactly what you get. My wife had the jerk chicken (a whole roasted half chicken with the most delicious jerk spices I've ever tasted), and I had the fried pork with slaw (Haitian Griot and Pikliz) which was equally delicious. Both came with rice and a salad, as well as a couple of fried plantain slices. I can't say enough how clean the restaurant was, and the food was very obviously fresh. Most importantly - was the obvious pride the owner had in her restaurant that she had 'grown herself', and was recently listed in a Miami news article as a 'don't miss' destination. I can promise you - I won't miss the place the next time I'm in Florida City. BTW - if you want to be daring, she has a Goat Creole, Ox Tail soup, and what appeared to be a couple of other special regional dishes.More
Food was excellent and service was very friendly. I enjoyed the jerk chicken but everything looked great. I recommend.
