It doesn't look like much from the outside, but there's good food waiting if you like tapas and Spanish food. I was greeted by a casually dressed (jeans and a top) hostess and taken to the enclosed courtyard. There is also a darkly lit formal...More

We loved Espana. Great tapas and the sangria is wonderful! The outside garden seating is beautiful. Highly recommend anything in the menu but the calamari steak is out if this world!

Really enjoyed the shrimp ceviche, olives, and shared the seafood paella. Service was very quick. Environment inside was lacking some.

The three of us enjoyed our dinner, but with the raves we expected more. Crowded and noisy, but service was pretty good. Scallops were overcooked.

Dined there with two other couples. Lovely place and reservations are a must. Best sangria Ever. Delicious salads (my husband and I always share one). The snapper entree and grouper entrees are fabulous.

When the garden dining area is open, yes, we allow well-behaved "man's best friend" on the patio. :)

Description
The traditional flavors of Spain and Portugal are highlighted in all our dishes here in the heart of historic Fernandina Beach. Sip on homemade Sangria or enjoy a glass of wine from a list of hand picked selections (International and Californian). Choose from a menu of hot and cold tapas, "just caught" fish or meat entrees including the national dish of Spain, Paella. You can choose to dine in our cozy main dining room, bright enclosed patio dining room or lush garden dining area which is open generally Thursday - Sunday and weather permitting :) Chef Roberto is a second generation restaurateur, with over 28 years experience. He endeavors to make your evening a memorable one by bringing both his own family recipes, and inspiration from trips to Spain and Portugal for you to savor and enjoy. Family owned and operated since 2004. The Original on Amelia Island!
