Not a fancy restaurant by any measure, but sit overlooking the Barron River while eating stone crab, shrimp, oysters, or fish and enjoy the scenery here at Triad on a working riverbank setting stacked with crab traps, working boats, and "down home" Florida Folks proud of their little piece of Paradise. The seafood is good, the portion sizes are ample,... More

I wasn't going to go in by the look of the front building, but urged by my car full of hungry people, we ventured. What a surprise. Great outdoor dining on the waterway, good food, decent prices, good portions, but our waitress was a bit forgetful 4 times. Many menu choices. Fulfilling meal. (Gets very busy at mealtime) tough parking.

You walk up to the register and order your food. They are "pet friendly" but we sure didn't feel it when we asked a server for water. She stated they did not have water containers for dogs. I told my friend to go to the car and get some water, luckily, the manager/owner? overheard us. She stepped in and brought... More

Great fresh fish, they grilled the grouper for me even though that wasn't usual. Was wonderful. Service a bit harried, but they were understaffed for the crowd. Hours are limited though, check before you go.

We went to this place base on our tour boat captain recommendation. The food was very good, enjoyed the gator bites and cheese burgers. Our waitress was very proud of her place of employment. We will return the next time we visit Everglades City.

In late March, my Honey presented me with 2 pounds of medium stone crabs for my birthday. That was a pleasant and tasty delight although the stone crabs were not especially fresh. My many fond memories of how this glorious delicacy can and should taste when ultra fresh had thus left a bad taste in my mind (yes, mind) so... More

Food was wonderful and homemade, not out of the freezer or a can. We enjoyed the fresh grouper and the Reuben was a finger licking mess of flavor! The key lime pie which topped off the meal was excellent as well. We enjoyed meeting local patrons and sharing their stories. This was all worth repeating. It is all open air... More

After a hard day of biking, reenergizing at the Triad was delightful. We sat in the screened in patio on the water and enjoyed a drink. Although my friend didn't enjoy the macaroni triangles, I was a big fan of the stone crab and she enjoyed the burger! Fries, both sweet and regular, were great and hushpuppies were perfect! In... Sunday afternoon lunch on a recommendation. Conch chowder was some of the best we've had in SWFL. Conch fritters not the best; grittier than others & small. Shrimp quesadilla - WOW. Filled with shrimp, easy to eat, large enough for reheating later, and a certain reorder the next time we stop. Shrimp basket - grilled with a wonderful scampi-like butter... More

We were staying in Marco Island and drove to Everglades City for lunch. We saw the Trip Advisor reviews for Triad and decided to check it out. We are so glad that we did! The seafood was all local and was fantastic. We sat at the tables that over looked the river, which was very nice. We are hesitant to... More
