My food was ok. We ordered the crab dip...the dip was good but it came with pita bread and I didn't like that. There wasn't a crunch with the dip. I felt it needed crackers or chips. I asked for chips and they didn't have any...the waitress was nice and brought us some saltines. That made it a little better.... More

We stopped by for an early lunch. I ordered the fish fingers and my husband ordered the popcorn shrimp. Both were priced at $8.99 including fries and slaw. Both meals were delicious, hot and crispy with tender meat inside. We also enjoyed a spicy Bloody Mary. Great food at a fair price.

Great selection of basic seafood. Oysters particularly good. Crab claws were very tasty. Recommend as good predictable seafood.

The Valentine special --Pecan crusted white fish --was awful. Should have sent back. But not my style. Definitely not worth $$29.99.

Stopped for lunch during a beautiful February beach day. Location is ideal and it's one of the better looking and impressive operations on the beach. However most the items are fried, and way over priced. Really a $7 domestic beer in a plastic cup on the beach. Won't be back, we tried a signature crab dip and fried calamari that... More

Our waiter was excellent in meeting the needs of our friend who has gluten issues. He assured her that her food would be cooked as per her dietary needs. The dinners were delicious, crab cakes, fried red snapper and shrimp, and the whitefish special. The only disappointment was that my husband couldn't celebrate his birthday with a chocolate dessert of... More

Good food that is served quickly in the off season. Expect a wait during the peak times. Playground and outside bar area is good for waiting.

One thing that's overlooked at The Crab Trap is the beachside bar. It's open year round, and has a great view of the beach. You can hang out, relax, and have a drink. They have a very small menu of prepared foods available, like peel n eat shrimp and gumbo available at the bar. You can order take out from... More

I guess when people go to the beach they want crab. This is a great restaurant, great location, great view but the crabs you eat are shipped in from far away. Not to knock them, but perhaps question the intelligence of most tourists. i had a seafood combo basket and it was yummy. The recommended drink was a tropical concoction in... More
