My husband and I have gone twice. The closest restaurant to our home, but so unimpressed. Service has been bad both times. We were left during non busy times waiting to be seated forever. Had to ask for refills. The food took very long and was not something I would tolerate bad service for at all.

We used to go quite a lot for the lunch specials. Unfortunately they don't have those anymore. The standard of food and service has gone down. Not sure if it's new owners or just trying to make more money. Portions are smaller, the cloth napkins have replaced by paper and the most ridiculous concept of serving sauces in covered plastic... I ordered the Corn beef with Cabbage Sandwich. The pretzel bread was old and the sandwich very dry. They gave me old wilted lettuce. My husband ordered the Fish n Chip's which tastes like they have been frozen for quite sometime. The best thing we ate was their Onion Rings. I showed the Manager the food and asked him if... More

Being from Crestview, FL, we frequent this restaurant several times a month and have never been disappointed, except for the last time. My husband has food sensitivities, and he always specifically asks that they don't sprinkle any cheese on the fries. This time our waitress, who was also training a new person, didn't listen and his dinner came with cheese... More

I saw an option for veggie burger here and thought I would give it a true seemed busy which is a good sign for area. The food was good. Gave us options and chose one regular fries and one sweet potato fries. I was pleased with the food and the price! Seating are inside and outside. A band was setting... More

Our waitress was very nice but the food was disgusting. I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap and the chicken tasted rotten so I sent it back and just got a grilled cheese. The grilled cheese was alright but you can't really screw that up. The food runner who brought the grilled cheese was snippy about me sending back the wrap... More

We haven't been to the Ale House for awhile. I was hungry for their Cornbeef & Cabbage dinner and my husband wanted Shrimp dinner. The first bite of the cabbage was so spicy hot that I felt it in my mouth for along time. The Cornbeef was very good along with the garlic mashed potatoes. I took a few more... More

I have lunch at Johnny O'Quigley's usually once a week. Today I had the bacon cheeseburger. It's a very large sandwich overall and consistently delicious. The bacon is thick and cooked perfectly. The potatoes are also thick-cut, which I personally don't care for as I'm not a big fan of potatoes, but they are decent. Everyone else seems to like... More
