We came here for dinner while dodging the storms recently on the Gulf coast. This was a good choice. My wife ordered the Rib Eye Steak and Fried Shrimp and I ordered the half Fried Shrimp and Fried Oysters. She had so much food that we had steak on salad the next day. The food was delicious and not priced... More

went for a family lunch and came across Spring Creek. The food was great, they were out of a few items but everything else was fresh and tasted great. we were there for lunch and had several seafood dishes and of course the hush puppies.

My wife and I went here on New Year's Day evening for dinner for the first time. We had heard about it when we have vacationed at Alligator Point; but have never made the 30-minute drive to try it out. It is very quaint and eclectic with varied decorations. It was obviously a house at one time (there is a... More

My husband had dinner at this restaurant one night while staying a few days at Wakulla Springs. The restaurant feels "homey" and comforting and the wait staff are friendly and make you feel right at home. Our server was Kiona and she was outstanding! My husband had the fried oysters and fried shrimp dinner and I had the fried shrimp... More

Wonderful food and great service. This is old Florida at its finest, like going back 50 years to the "way it was back then. Truly a "Forgotten Coast" Gem. It's a little off the beaten path but that adds to the ambiance. There specialties include fried quail and catfish, and especially softshell crabs. Key Lime Pie to die for too

Fish from local waters cooked fried, grilled or baked, plus daily specials--duck breast, when we were there. Choice of southern-type sides, and cheesy grits were especially good. You also get their famous iceberg wedge salad with dressing from a wine bottle. We especially loved their grilled shrimp and the fried mullet--and don't forget to suck the meat from the backbone.... What a fun place! Don't expect anything fancy. The place hasn't change its decor in the last 30+ years. Old wood, stuffed turkeys, old pictures of Spring Creek on the walls. Great fried anything. Huge salad tossed at the table with wine bottles filled with homemade salad dressing. Great pies. Go when you aren't dieting!
