We had an excellent waiter his name was Kurt. He knew everything about the menu and was very helpful, he made some very insightful advice on menu choices based on our tastes and preferences. The food was delicious ,we had as an appetiser the red snapper ceviche and empanadas they were the best appetisers we had all week. For the mains we had the shrimp fajitas and grupa and red snapper and my daughter had on the children’s menu the beef burritos for $8 which was a very good price. For dessert we had the traditional key lime pie, which was nothing short of the best dessert we ever had we ordered 1 (they’re quite big) and we shared it between 4 it was amazing we just to order another one.Overall we had a brilliant experience would recommend!

It would be difficult to find a bad meal at this restaurant. I've been to many Mexican style restaurants, and this one is a cut above the rest when it comes to food. You can't go wrong with this menu. The service was good, the food left you craving another visit and the location is within walking distance of the hotels.

Kurt advised us about the menu and he did well!!
Great service, really tasteful food and the atmosphere is laid back.
We sat on the deck, after our dolphins tour and mesmerizing what we just experienced. So after you did a boat tour with Little Toot go relax at this place

Unfortunately, our experience was not what we had expected. The food overall was disappointing. The tacos were greasy and the shells were so soggy they fell apart. The steak fajitas were the worse I have had in years. They are delivered on a cold plate, the meat was tough, flavorless and cold. The onion and peppers were similar to the taco shells, soggy, flavorless and cold. The meat and onions/peppers are to not have been cooked together at all. The toppings were less than tasty. The chorizo queso was good. We had hoped for a tasty meal, instead left disappointed.

Our server, Kerry, was exceptional. She went above and beyond to offer menu suggestions, bring extra sauces, correct a flat drink, and offer things that were helpful that we didn’t even ask for. She was frequently at our table and my youngest daughter commented on how happy and friendly she was the whole time. She made it an excellent experience. The food was great too – we loved her suggestions.

Old frozen, mushy, fishy tasting, off color lobster tail and poor quality, off tasting filet mignon. Greasy vegetables. Mixed service, some okay, but nothing really accomodating. Requested the filet be cooked more. It was taken back and returned exactly the same. Waitress said nothing when she was shown this. She did provide a container when asked so that the filet mignon could be cooked at home. Just disappointing all around. I do not believe most of the positive reviews. Most people can tell crappy food if they are not drunk. But then there are those who are taste insensitive and those who are drunk...and...some write positive reviews because they were happy eating crap while drunk. And, some positive reviews are just plain lies written buy ownership. C'est la vie.

This restaurant has a lovely upstairs dining area, along with comfy seating areas and fire pits. They also have inside dining, but because it was such a gorgeous evening, everyone chose to dine outside.
For cocktails we decided to order the trio of margaritas. We chose the descanso, strawberry fields and mad mango. Out of the three, strawberry Fields was the stand out!
For apps we ordered the cantina shrimp cocktail and the ahi tuna tostada. Shrimp cocktail was very tasty with plenty of shrimp and the Ahi tuna was just OK. Entrees were the grouper del sol and the shrimp and scallop ajillo. Both were good but nothing special.
Service was a bit on the slow side and a few items were forgotten along the way but the waitstaff was friendly and personable. I think the main reason to eat here is the lovely outdoor dining area. We would probably give this a second chance next time in Clearwater.

It was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding. However, what truly elevated our experience was our server, Kurt. His knowledge of the menu, attentive service, and friendly demeanor made us feel truly welcomed. He went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was perfect while celebrating our anniversary!

Had a fantastic view of the Marina on the beach in the heart of Clearwater. Extremely clean restaurant with beautiful views. We had amazing seats right on the edge of the rooftop so we could see the water and feel the light breeze. They have amazing options for seating from lounge chairs to large tables for big groups. Their menu is very unique, large, and tasteful as I could find many options that would both fit my palette but also explore new foods I’ve never tried.
Kurt recommend many great options as well as informed us of multiple drinks specials and how everything was made fresh in house, and multiple fish caught locally each day.
The 3rd rooftop is also an amazing rooftop bar with a lot of high quality drinks for an affordable price.
I ate the Ancho Chile Chicken Quesadilla which was fantastic. The portions inside were perfect and the flavors blended seamlessly.
As much as I would like to only compliment our waiter, the chef and the owners did a great job of both running the place, serving delicious food, and providing a clean and professional restaurant.

Excellent restaurant, the food was absolutely delicious and well prepared, with fresh ingredients and the best quality! The fusion of the flavors was exceptional! When we arrived for dinner they told us that the waiting time was 45-50 minutes and we only waited 30 minutes. The waitress, Emily, gave us attention beyond expected, we ordered for appetizer guac, and unfortunately they did not bring it to the table, but when Emily realized, she immediately told us that she would take care of it. We are really satisfied with the attention and the excellent food we enjoyed tonight. When we get back to Orlando we won't hesitate to eat here again! Highly recommended. Congratulations to the entire restaurant team.

Stopped in when we were looking for something to eat before a boat tour. The staff was extremely kind. There was no wait and everything we ordered came quickly. The queso and margaritas were so good that we stopped by to eat more after the tour. We asked for Jovi's section, since he was so helpful and kind the first time. We ordered several dishes and drinks again. We were treated just as great the second time as we were the first visit, even though we got there somewhat close to closing time. I have food allergies that Jovi conveyed to the kitchen, even though we didn't order anything with those ingredients. My young niece asked for some special requests and we were told it was not problem at all. Highly recommend and will return if we are in the area again.

Wow. I’ve been coming to Clearwater all these years and missed out on the Cantina. Great spot with wonderful staff. Kurt was an excellent waiter with knowledge of the entire menu.
Extremely attentive and helpful.
Will be coming back .
We enjoyed the salsa and chips, street corn, queso, an array of margaritas and tacos. All

Generous portions, excellent service, yummy food. Husband’s salmon and tortilla soup were delicious and I enjoyed the mole chicken. Visited on a cold night so couldn’t enjoy the outdoor patio but it looks incredible and can’t wait to return.

I can’t say enough good things about our Server KURT.
He was so patient with explaining all my food questions and every time he came to the table he made us laugh.
The food choices in the Cantina were priced very reasonable and the carnitas tacos were delicious.
And I have to mention the amazing chips and salsa. We couldn’t stop eating them. So thin and crispy and the salsa was very tasty. I hope after working there for 5 years that Kurt finally wins the charter fishing trip he so deserves.

Ceviche served without chips. Had to ask. Requested salsa which was served in a catsup sized single serving container. Fatty and dry carnitas. Octopus and pork belly came without pork belly. When asked 2 tablespoons of pork belly brought in the catsup sized container. Complained about the food. Waiter said he was sorry. I have had better food in a fast food joint.
