On a bass fishing trip our guide suggested we stop here to eat. We stopped and had breakfast. The food was wonderful with large portions. The service was even better. Not a fancy place from the road but well worth the stop. We enjoyed it so much that we stopped there for dinner. We had the Turkey Dinner, Roast Pork... More

We spotted all cars in the parking lot which is generally a good sign of a good restaurant. We had the roast beef special. It was tender and juicy . Excellent taste . Wait staff was very busy but kept up with the tables . Bathroom was very clean and that's a plus ! Highly recommend this place!!!!!

Friday and Saturday are seafood nights and the food is excellent. Absolutely the tastiest grilled shrimp, fried shrimp and fried flounder I have ever had.....and I have eaten tons!!! And the price, I honestly don't know how they can serve their customers so much food for such a low price. For sides, I highly recommend palm cabbage and the baked... More

I was actually pretty disappointed with this place. I asked what their specialties were and was told the fried chicken, roast beef and ham. I opted for the fried chicken which was a mistake! I have had better fried chicken at almost every fast food place I have gone too. The chicken lacked flavor, was really greasy and a bit... More

We've stopped here several times on the way back and forth to Tallahassee and we are never disappointed. This one time truck stop certainly looks like an old truck stop but what comes out of the kitchen is great. It is a bit dated, and the bathrooms -which are spotless- are around the side of the building, but you can't... More

Former truck stop with a friendly service from all staff and very tasty food. Not fancy but very flavorful choices.

Bett's Big T has been a big favorite of our family for decades. They were originally a truck stop back in the 1940s and have basically evolved from that. The food is home cooking and is very good! No matter what meal you have, be it breakfast, lunch, or dinner - it's all good! The place has seen a surge... More

Don't expect fancy, you're not going to get it. You will get friendly, and lots of that, in addition to huge platters of whatever you ordered. We had the meatloaf and the chicken fried steak. Both were exceptionally good. Found the place just driving along the road. When you can leave a restaurant full after a late lunch for two... More

We have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. The food has always been good and hot, not room temp like so many places anymore. And it's good southern cooking if you don't leave full it's your own fault.

My wife and I continue our trip up and down US 19 eating at the local establishments. We stopped at Bett's because their parking lot is always full of vehicles. We figured if that many cars are there the food must be good. I was wrong. The restaurant is very dated inside (early 60's) and carpet is probably the original.... More
