It started at the bar with Chris suggesting a Mojito's as a before dinner drink at the bar. He was friendly and knew the history of the restaurant along with talk about the area. Our table was ready and our server quickly greeted us and worked to bring us some terrific bread as an appetizer. We ordered my date's shrimp... More

We did not have reservations so had a 1/2 wait which was exactly what was estimated by the hostess. We dined outside on a beautiful evening. My paella was enough for two meals and delicious. Parking can be a bit of a challenge but we found a street side spot two blocks away. We will return the next time we... More

Very friendly staff. Extensive menu, something for everyone. Cuban bread so delicious. And the 1905 salad is a must! We ordered one and shared. The decor/architecture is gorgeous. Very popular restaurant so reservations are advisable.

It appears that you did not eat at the Columbia, as you mention Greek decor. We are a Spanish/Cuban restaurant, and we do not have any Greek decor, or Greek items on our menu. Perhaps you've mixed up the name of the restaurant that you dined at with ours. More

Not having been to the Columbia for several years, I was looking forward to a great meal. Three of us dined at the Celebration location this week-end and only 1 of the 3 meals was satisfactory. Pompano en Papillot is one of my favorite Spanish seafood dishes. It is stuffed pompano baked in parchment paper. Usually the seafood dressing is... More

This restaurant has a lot of character and a great Spanish atmosphere. It's a big, airy place with large wood tables and authentic decor. They claim to have been in existence since 1905. The cuisine is Spanish - Cuban. The Paella is excellent. The octopus appetizer is wonderful. Service is professional and attentive.

A nice spanish restaurant we visited on Sunday evening, March 26. We made reservations (highly recommended) for 6PM. Our table was ready but, it being a mild evening, we asked to be seated outside instead and were accommodated in 15 minutes. We were directed to the bar to wait. There was no bartender as the person was also serving as... More

Based on other reviews my husband and I visited the Columbia Restaurant. My husband was really disappointed. His steak and French frie dinner arrived cold and tasteless. He ate some of it waiting for the waiter to come by. I was almost finished mine by the time he arrived. He asked my husband if he wanted another dinner or another... More

This was our first time at Columbia Restaurant, and we will do an encore the next time we are in Orlando. It is located in a streetside venue of downtown Celebration. We chose to eat lunch inside as it was a quasi-business meeting, but the outdoor tables are very popular in the spring and the fall. The serving time was... More

Description
Family-owned and operated for more than 112 years, Columbia has earned acclaim for its old-world charm and award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine and wine list. Join us for century-old family recipes like Paella "a la Valenciana," Filet Mignon "Columbia," and fresh seafood specialties. Don't miss Columbia's Original "1905" Salad(R), prepared tableside with our delicious, freshly-made dressing, a 100-year-old family recipe of fresh garlic, oregano, wine vinegar and Spanish extra virgin olive oil. Be sure to sample a fine Spanish wine like Montecillo or Campillo. Relax outdoors in our cafe or courtyard, or inside our Tapas Bar or Mediterranean-style dining rooms filled with hand-painted tiles and family heirlooms. Casual attire is fine, but we don't allow sleeveless shirts on men. We are a sister to the Columbia in Tampa's Ybor City, founded in 1905. Children's menu available. Open 365-days a year, including all holidays.
