Funny, I almost always give 5 stars, but no where on Cedar Key earns 5 stars except Tony's Chowder. We went to Steamers because of the local recommendations. The food was just ok. I ordered the special, which was a tuna steak. Because I am...More

Outstanding clams and oysters with an incredible beer, wine and full bar ‘at your service’. Superb fish, fowl, steak and pasta dishes available as well but one patronizes ‘STEAMERS’ for their steamed or roasted clams ! Perfect every time

We visited Steamer’s on a Saturday evening and the venue was nearly full. The waitress was friendly and attentive. My wife was not overly hungry, so she ordered a bowl of crab bisque with a side of hush puppies. The bisque was thick and creamy...More

The food and service were both excellent. I had the crab legs were cooked just right. They have a really cool view of the gulf.

Get a Gulf view seat!! We went on a chilly day-had to sit inside-bummer! Outside is great, but view from inside is good too. Crab Bisque was mediocre-go to Tonys for their "world famous" Clam chowder. Had the soft shell crab dinner-really good!.

Great, weather beaten, waterside joint on the second floor overlooking a small island off of Cedar Key. Beer and liquor, awesome clam chowder (rich and creamy, little rosemary?) and a great raw oysters. Funky bar and locals hangout, touristy but authentic. What I wish Doc...More

Be sure to inquire about how much your drink costs prior to ordering. If I had known the price on my margarita, I'd have ordered something else. We ordered snack foods, because we arrived between lunch and dinner. All was good - yummy coconut shrimp....More

Looking for a good seafood restaurant for lunch and we decided on Steamers. It is upstairs and we had a table by the window looking out on the Gulf. We both love steamed clams so we split a 1 pound clam bowl - which gave...More
