Chose Petar’s based on trip advisors reviews and a suggestion from an acquaintance. Reservation at 7:45 arrived about 7:30 seated promptly. Coles service was professional yet friendly throughout. The wine list is short but adequate. We did note a party that had brought their own wine- we did not ask about the corkage fee.
Preparations are extremely tasty. Our party of three sampled the ravioli of the day, lobster bisque, and squash soup from the appetizer side followed up by the land special, the fish of the day- Covina and the diver scallop with pork belly entree. All three preparations met it exceeded our expectations.
We learned that Ana & peter worked together at the Ritz. They obviously learned well, hire well and train as they were trained by the Ritz. Ana runs the front of the house with a very friendly professionalism that was exhibited by each staff member we came in contact with.
Since i was tardy making the reservation we seated outdoors ( there appears to be mire seating outdoors than indoors). They have done the best they can to create an ambience which is a challenge when you are working with a walk up area overlooking the mall’s parking lot.
Given that reality for us the service coupled with the creative preparations including stunning plate presentation-overcame the limited ambiance.

Was given a gift certificate by my thoughtful daughter, and went with her brother, wife and 2 small children. Strip mall location was crowded with open kitchen. Staff was wonderful, helpful and professional. My son and I had short ribs ($35) and both wives had a corvina special($37). The two children had pasta with butter($12). All of the food was very good! With a couple of beers, a glass of wine, and 2 desserts, our bill was $250.00 plus a $50 gratuity. The TA estimate $$-$$$ is misleading, it more like $$$$. $35 for pot roast seems a bit much regardless what you call it, or how good it is.

Our family of 4 dined at Petar's recently. I contacted the restaurant early in the day to ask about vegetarian options for my daughter. They had a number of ideas. I also mentioned that we were celebrating our daughters' birthdays that are just a couple of weeks apart. The restaurant had bouquets of flowers on the table for each daughter when we arrived. A fabulous vegetarian dish was prepared along with the lasagna (my husband's favourite) , short ribs for me and the special fish dish for my other daughter. Everything was exceptional. The dessert crepes were perfect. And the service, the best we have add in SW Florida. Petar's created a wonderful evening for the entire family. Thank you!

We had dinner here one night and it was overall a nice experience. The place is quite small but it adds to the atmosphere and you can watch the chefs doing their jobs which is always nice.
Service was great, the waiters/ waitresses are very attentive and polite, the restaurant is very clean and the food is very tasty and nicely laid out on the plate.
It's probably one of the most expensive restaurants in Bonita Springs but to go there once is worthwhile, just treat yourself one night while on holidays.
I will be back next time I'm in the area.

The staff is welcoming and the service is excellent, but it is the food that is exceptional. Our party of four, including one vegetarian thoroughly enjoyed the salmon, short ribs and vegetarian plate. The chef assembled a very tasty vegetarian option of assorted vegetables, goat cheese and mashed potato. We’ll definitely return. Staff indicated that vegans can be accommodated too, if they call ahead and provide sufficient notice. Highly recommended.

I got to pick the restaurant for my birthday. Looked to Trip Advisor and picked the #1 restaurant in Bonita Springs. Not disappointed and reason for writing review as I don't usually spend the time unless something special. In anticipation of my birthday and friends 50th anniversary, Petar's decorated the table and provided each of us with half dozen roses. To my pleasant surprise they had soft shell crabs as one of the specials which I had over pasta with a touch of their special lobster sauce. My wife combined two appetizer crab cakes into a dinner...all crab with minimal filling and lobster mash potatoes. Great food, great service made for a memorable celebration.

We are building a home in Bonita Springs and did a working trip the first week of December. One our goals was to find great local dining and we tried many of the top rated places on Trip Advisor. It's no secret that New Englanders take Covid-19 a bit more seriously than most local Floridians, so Petar's was perfect for us with a great outdoor floor set up even in the confines of a typical shopping plaza. Ana, the floor manager and her waitstaff, treat outdoor guests as good as those dining indoors and make sure you get enough heat on cool nights and also attentive service.
The food was very good as we split the filet and gnocchi appetizer and I had the chicken roulade and my wife had the triple tale and we shared the key lime brulee for dessert. The presentation was great and the sides work well with the entrees. This concept works and this will be a go to place for us when we're in this area. It's also convenient to North Naples. Reservations are easy. They are not on OpenTable, but email the restuarant and they get right back to you.

The only people who could ever enjoy their delicious food is the Wealthy. It is a Restaurant for people who need to feel they are SPECIAL. Why can't good food go along with being able to enjoy it? I hate these places where only the rich get their day in the sun!

My wife and I had a wonderful meal from start to finish. Triple Tail and lobster dinners were fresh and not camouflaged with sauces. You cold taste the food!!!
I can’t say enough for the food preparation, the service and the hospitality. I highly recommend it.

Wonderful dinner. Staff and service were very high level. Don’t let the in-line strip center location keep you away from this hidden gem.
The wine list was ample enough, and the prices were reasonable and fair. Those who had the fresh watermelon salad raved. I personally had the antipasto, which was excellent.
Our group had a two wonderful pieces of fish, Salmon and Snapper, and a couple of the hungrier guys had the home made wagyu, beef bolognese lasagna. These were prepared in mini individual casserole dishes and were simply outstanding, though filling.
We will definitely be coming back for more.

Be prepared for creative, high quality, locally sourced dishes well presented. The indoor space is limited, but cleanly decorated with an open view of the working kitchen. Lump crap gazpacho and short rib ravioli were our interesting starters. We then experienced lobster linguine and triple tail fish with papaya and mango salsa on a bed of a fine butternut squash purée. Heaven on earth found in a shopping plaza in Bonita Springs, who knew?
Our only slight knock was the heavy mark up for modest wine, but probably needed to financially support their menu.

We found Petars through Trip Advisor. At first glance we were a little concerned with the location- our concern was allayed when we were quickly received by a very friendly hostess. The experience continue to impress from there. Our server was very attentive and although the menu is a bit small, the food was incredible and came out hot. Don't let the prices on the wine list fool you- not every good bottle of wine needs to break the bank. Our server knew the wine list well and helped us pair our wine selection with our meal (I had the lamb). The desert menu is largely focused on crepes. We enjoyed the fresh berry crepe to end our meal. We will be back!

Having had the pleasure to dine several times over the last 2 years at Petar's each dining event has been more exquisite than the last. My favorites incude the American Angus Beef Tenderloin and the Angus Short Ribs, both so tender and served with the best complments 0f the Chef Petar. My wife and mom lament that the corn bacon chowder is the best ever, with their antipasta and caprese salads. Along with me they agree the crab cakes are devine, and the daily specials are truly special. If any space in the stomach. the house crepes and key lime creme brulee are beyond reproch. i'm excited to be able to share with friends and family about the great food, excellence and friendly staff. God bless Petar's through these trying times.

This year we've been to Petar's several times and it's always been consistently outstanding - both food and service. Last night for appetizers we had two bowls of corn-bacon chowder, a lobster bisque and a beet salad; for dinner a faroe island salmon, two corvina fish(es), and crab cakes' and for dessert we shared a multi berry crepe. Our guests, there for the first time, raved about everything. We asked them to rate it and without hesitation they both said 5 out of 5! We agree. Anna is always the most pleasant hostess. Petar oversees the kitchen and makes sure the dishes are properly presented. Go there.

We tried this restaurant based on TA reviews and were blown away by the quality of the food and the charm of all the staff. Two days later we returned so we could try some more menu items and were not disappointed. The Chef/Owner obviously has a passion for perfection which shows in every dish. We tried two different preparations of Tripletail (a delicious mild tasting white fish) both of which were perfect. The ravioli starter (stuffed with short rip meat) was amazing and would be a welcome addition at any Michelin restaurant. Even the dessert crepes were perfection. This is a restaurant for "foodies" who appreciate great preparation and cooking. Petar's will be on our agenda whenever we return to this part of Florida.
