Their tapas menu offers a way for sampling lots of different items without the huge portions. It's like eating lots of appetizers. Order about 3 dishes per person and share. The shrimp with a herb sauce is delicious. Calamari is never overcooked and tasty with the remoulade sauce. Cheeseboard is a must have.

This was my first time to Café Azafran. It was National Grilled Cheese Sandwich day so I decided to have a grilled cheese sandwich. I usually don't buy a grilled cheese sandwich at a restaurant because I think it is a lot of money for two pieces of bread and a couple of pieces of cheese. This certainly wasn't the... More

Highly recommend this restaurant - bartender is so nice and competent, wait staff have been there for a long time, sign of a good environment and owner. The food has been great the past two times we have been there. The crab cake is my fav-mostly crab, nicely flavored, with extremely tasty brussell sprouts and light sauce. The pork was... More

It was a party of 5. We got a great table in the window. Terrific cocktails and lots of great dishes although I had the gnocchi again and the dish did not disappoint. Everybody in the party loved the food. Our server was terrific and very funny. Looking forward to going there again at my next visit to the beach

Visited in the off-season while staying at a hotel close by for business. Quite small so I imagine it's tough during the summer to get in. Charming, cozy place with little bluesy music playing. Happened in on the shrimp special night (always good by me!…) and had the shrimp puttanesca. Very good, and enough for another meal. Bread, oil and... More

We stopped by for lunch on a quiet winter day and were surprised by the number of people who came in for lunch. Soup of the day was very good albeit a bit spicy, and the Mediterranean plate was great for two to share. We heard from friends that their Musical Steak and Wine nights are excellent, so we'll need... More

Came here with a friend. Service was, as expected excellent. The tapas we ordered were good...I would mention them but I dont recall exactly what they were. I can say they were fairly large portions, so much so you could make a meal out of them. My friend had the seafood salad (nicoise du jour salad) with salmon and it... More

Their soups are always great - As is the rest of their menu. We had a crab chorizo chowder that was delicious, and shared the Mediterranean Plate that had a warm baguette, olive tapenade, 2 cheeses, ham, roasted peppers, spinach, artichokes, and other things I can't remember. Plenty of food for two - we couldn't finish t all! Perfect for... More

Rehoboth Beach offers wonderful and unique dining experiences and Cafe Azafran Thursday nights is at the TOP of my list. If you have not experienced .. GO.
