On a Sunday afternoon, this place filled up quickly and also became quite noisy so don't expect quiet conversation. Chili was a hearty blend of meat and beans with plenty of kick. A bit strong on the onions. Salmon burger was done well with minimal breading if any to hold it together. Asked for fries to be crispy and they... More

Went here with some friends a few weeks ago for dinner and a drink! The food was good and reasonably priced. We really loved the service and especially Kendall at the bar! Eat outside if you get the chance and get a nice view of main street Old Saybrook! Just a good friendly place with a great atmosphere

We were here for a family brunch. They have a small brunch menu to order from (no buffet). Because we had so many people we were crammed into a space where we had to pass the plates down since the servers couldn't reach everyone. The food was good but I thought it was slightly over priced for what you get.... More

A rainy evening in May seemed like a good opportunity to try the liver and onions at the Penny Lane Pub in Old Saybrook. We started with a soup - sweet potato and cinnamon. Won't do that again. The liver and onions, though overcooked, was pretty good. The place was hopping, the service was good, and we'll go back to... More

My wife, daughter and I stopped here for a quick dinner a couple weeks ago. I found it on Trip Advisor and figured it was worth a shot despite the varied reviews. It fits a niche but you should know what you are getting into before you go. It may or may not suit what you are looking for. First,... More

We had won a gift certificate (at a fundraiser for the wonderful library in Old Lyme)--and it was proverbially burning a hole in my pocket--so off we went one lunch time when we needed to be over in Old Saybrook for shopping--parking was right there in front of a row of interesting looking shops for which I hope to return.... Stopped for a light dinner while on the way to an evening meeting in the area. The menu had a variety of offerings with an Irish and American flair. I ordered the spinach salad with lamb- and must say it was tasteless. The lamb bites were full of gristle and the dressing on the salad didn't add much to the... More

I was out with friends recently for a ride to the shoreline on a nice warm day. I like the fact that even with the temp in the 60's they had outdoor seating available. I recommended we stop here for lunch, since I had been here a few times and have enjoyed it. Very quaint place with a nice first... More
