We have always enjoyed PLP - the ambience, friendliness, and good solid food. But something has changed and the food has gone up to 5 stars ⭐️ In my opinion. You can still get solid pub food like amazing burgers, club sandwiches and the like....More

This is simply an outstanding restaurant. Excellent food & service. I look forward to going back there the next time I am in the area. They (Alex) even took the time to assist me in getting my car started - jumped battery.

This is one of our favorite local places to eat. The food is great and the service is top notch. The woodwork at the bar is amazing. Try the onion rings.

They have a beautiful bar made of ornate wood. Service was excellent. It was very noisy because a group came in and we're all talking at once. Upstairs for dinner it was much quieter. Again service was friendly and professional. I had a bison burger...More

The Connecticut Shoreline has several excellent restaurants. This is not one of them, however. The food is gimmicky and uninspired.

The service was very good w/ out being over powering. Staff is friendly. Great bar food. We have eaten here several times and it never disappoints. There onion rings are excellent.

Of course you like the Beatles! Don’t miss Penny Lane Pub. Evening entertainment takes you back. Food and tap has old English favorites (e.g. fish and chips and Boddington ale) and today’s best apps (coconut shrimp). Moderately priced. Fresh and tasty. Casual. Reservations.

I would recommend calling ahead. It's a cozy pub, seating is limited.
