A simple, no-nonsense "clam shack" with exceptionally good food. If you like chili dogs, you can't do better than these—Johnny Ad's serves foot-long dogs served in grilled top-slit buns, and the chili is savory without being TOO spicy. (Be sure to add red relish from the condiment bar.) The fries are fabulous: crisp on the outside, feathery-soft on the inside.... More

And their french fries rock, too! This is my very favorite place to get fried shrimp in a relaxed atmosphere. They've been there since I was a kid, always loved it!

Just stopped here and shared both, a hot and cold roll with my girl. Both rolls were very good, bread was extremely tasty. The cold one had a little too much celery, but the lobster was very sweet. If you're in the area it's a must stop at place.

Johnny Ad's, featuring their foot long hot dogs, used to be "the place to go". I went with a coworker for lunch. She ordered a BLT with unsweetened iced tea and I had a chicken wrap with unsweetened ice tea. We each got an order of fries as well. The bacon on the BLT was burnt. My wrap was okay,... More

Always a line ..so every one knows the food is made to order and as fresh as can be... From fish tacos, decadent diet destroying waffle fries with cheese to fritters, seafood platters, chowders, lobster rolls and red hots.. There will be no unhappy diners here. We always find ourselves eating here as the food is typically ready quickly and family friendly. I recommend the mahi tacos...great fries too. My daughter loves the grilled salmon and my son, the fried mozzerella sticks. Although I've never had, my husband always gets the clam chowder.

This place started off decades ago as a simple basic road side hot dog stand with an expanded menu that has grown to hot Lobster rolls, best anywhere!, fried shrimp, clams etc. it has casual seating inside and out and is very popular and often crowded, more enjoyable than you would expect.

The worst most expensive whole belly clam platter ever. The belly's were the size of my pinky nail. They were not creamy at all, overcooked and chewy. I don't mind paying for a tasty meal but this was a ripoff! many other places to choose from for this kind of meal.
