It's one of those place where you have to wonder why the owners don't seem interested in improving there business. But being a Norwich resident - that's rather typical for the area. They have a nice selection of food, but the eating area leaves a...lot to be desired. The styro plates and plastic forks are juvenile. I see another review says about the same thing, including the lack of parking, and the blight. The owners would be smart to find another location, but I'm afraid that's asking to much. Not exactly conducive for a return visit.More

We visited Yantic falls and found this place for our afternoon tea. Overall food was very good and specially the prices. Being an Indian, we felt their Naan was not freshly made (they may be using frozen naan) and tea was also not made from...scratch as it has that special flavor like ready to drink tea powder available in Indian grocery store. Vegetable curries were really tasty and enough quantity. Dinning area was not appealing as they have bunch of boxes right in there but staff was very friendly. Overall not bad, if you are traveling thru the area and looking for Indian food.More

The food was good but the atmosphere was lacking. The help seemed indifferent. We were there for a Friday lunch and were the only people in the place. Since we were ticket #4, I guess there had been 3 take outs. Plates are styrofoam, utensils...are plastic. Add the difficulty of down town Norwich parking and the whole area looking of blight and we won't be back.More

Was staying at the Mohegan sun and was desperate for a change. This is a cafe with basic tables and chairs, food served in take away cartons but lovely. Cooked fresh we had 3 different Currys each had a good and distinct flavour. Pakora starters...were generous, rice and breads tasty. Hot food good price lush. Best thing for me was the chai tea. I am no connoisseur but I loved it and had another to take away. Maybe tea longing! Highly recommended but don't expect glamour.More

My Wife and I ordered Take-out from here and we didn't know what to expect but we were interested in trying a new restaurant. We were more than pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. The only issue we had at all was we...felt the portion of naan we got was a little small. Otherwise everything else we got was excellent and I was thrilled when the person taking the order asked how spicy you wanted each dish. It is nice because not everyone wants their mouth on fire all night. Most of the dishes we got in mild and they were wonderfully tasty and flavorful. We got the Chicken Tikka Masala in medium and it had a pleasant burn but nothing painful with the rice.More

Very responsive to requests as everything is made fresh and to order. Not what you'll find in India and the taste are not as spicy but their pleasing attitude will bring you back.
