This has to be the worst place we went on our vacation, hands down!!! My wife and I ordered a basket of steamers, an ear of corn, a baget, cup of chowder and lobster mac and cheese. $80.00 Lets start with the steamers, very small,...and very dry, you can tell they have been in the steamer for a very long time, there served in little mesh bags all pre made, actually I think every thing is pre made ahead of time here. The clams were like shoe leather and just full of sand, and I mean full, I broke one open and it was almost a teaspoon worth of sand, more sand than clam. When we said something we were told that's what the 1 ounce soufflé cup of flavourless juice was for, to rinse the sand out...WHAT! Not, can we get you a new batch, they refused to swap them out, was told we pay extra to have them purged so there's nothing wrong with them. Really!!! The corn must have been left over from the day before just mush and watery, no flavor of corn at all, the husk was turning brown. The chowder was so salty we could not eat it. And the worst of all was the Lobster Mac and cheese, it was just HORRIBLE. Imagine a plate of small shell pasta that was over cooked and put on a paper plate and left to sit till it's all stuck together, and the people up here must have another definition of what cheese is, cause what ever they put on the pasta was not cheese, there was no creamy cheese, it was more like cheetos powdered cheese dust on cold over cooked pasta with a very small scoop of chopped lobster on top, poor lobster gave his life for this, words really can't describe just how terrible this really was. My recommendation..... Go somewhere else. When I tried to talk to management I was met with nothing but attitude from an older woman with glasses and all she kept saying is "Well I just can't see things being as bad as you say" , and refused to do anything, and I mean anything, finally a younger lady just came over and refunded my money with an attitude. After the refund there was no apology no nothing she just turned and walked away. Good old New England Hospitality. If you still decide to go here just order the baget it was the best thing.More
