Many dining shows and guidebooks recommend tourists look for the places where the locals eat. Seahorse is truly a local's hangout. Patrons were visiting each other and the servers knew all the patrons by name– except us! As others have said on TripAdvisor, this restaurant is rather plain and appears to be rather old. It's clean and freshly painted, but... More

Great restaurant a little hard to find in Noank, because it's located in front of the boat yard. Food is very good, prices are moderately priced, seafood is a plus. Great service, pub room available with same menu.

Decided to take my fiancé there for dinner while in town. The food was pricey and not that good. The lobster was rubbery and over cooked. Tasted like it was frozen. Won't go back again ever.

It just isn't there. No nice atmosphere. No sea views, and no sea horses - anywhere! A blah place, but the food is good and they do have one major asset - the waitress we had! She had the 1st two tables on the right as you walk in. Best waitress I've ever had! Ask for her and what is... More

Delicious meal, courteous and friendly service, relaxed vibe! The host even ran out to the parking lot to recommend where to park. The Lobster was perfect.

The Seahorse is a regular dinner spot for us when we don't want to cook. The food and service are reliably good.

Baked Cod was delicious as always. Lobster Madeira was full of lobster but light on flavor this time. Was much better on a previous visit.

For a family member's birthday we chose the Seahorse where they most often enjoy a light bite (near where they live). Even though we had 7 people and didn't call ahead, they were gracious and accommodating. Some of the meals around the table were Pasta Primavera, Baked Cod and Chicken Marsala. All were excellent in preparation, presentation and flavor. We... More
