My husband and I enjoyed our meals of chicken kebab and a Reuben topped off with a cannoli and mini-eclairs. Everything was delicious and the service was great. It's always a pleasure to stop here whenever we're en route to and from NY.

I love old diners and The Blue Colony was a treat to visit. It seemed like a popular spot for locals so we had to wait a while to be seated. My omelette was very good - it was cooked just right. Our waitress was funny and upbeat which made our trip there even better. We were just passing through... More

We were passing through the area and had about only about a half hour for brunch. We stopped in at the Blue Colony Diner and it fit the bill for us. We arroved at a very busy time. The parking lot was alost completely filled. However, we entered the restaurant and were seated quickly. Our waiter was friendly, and took... More

Typical diner food, extensive menu. Mostly a friendly staff and lovely owners, just not our favorite diner. Had 3 eat in visits: (1) questionable server issue, especially when they were obviously sick, (1) barely pleasant but tossed our food over quick enough and (1 last visit) did not care much for the food. I know Newtown residents who just love... More

The Blue Colony is a regular stop in our twice annual migration to Maine. Clean, quick and friendly service and good, decent diner food. Not this trip. At about 10:30 in the morning, I ordered an egg and sausage sandwich and my husband ordered an omelet. Dry, way over cooked eggs with crispy edges. Coffee tasted like the grounds had... More

Back when I lived in the area, this was a great spot to hit for a burger after the bars closed. I recently had to go back to the area and stopped for a late dinner- instant memories!! The place is steady with customers and for good reason, the wide menu and the food is great. If you've never had... More

Since I live in town we frequent the Diner . Great staff reminiscent of the old roadside diners. The menu is huge and and the portions are as well. All the baking is done there with traditional and delicious Greek desserts , cookies and pies and cheesecakes. Everyone using rt. 84 east or west should try it. It's very easy... More
