Went there based on very good reviews. Was inconsistent with my wifes meal "good" and mine not so. It was described as a peruvian style Marisco Paella i think. the one, large clam was too tough to eat and rice just too dry and simply too large a portion. Waiter was part of family ownership and he couldnt have been nicer.... More

So this place has great Peruvian food. The portions are big the place is BYOB so bring a cooler and plan to wait if it is busy as everything is made to order. We had plantains, Rotisserie chicken, fried rice, steak and pasta, fried shrimp and empanadas. the staff are abosolutely amazing and friendly and answer any and all questions... More

This place has the best Ceviche! Every time we drive into New London for a visit we tell ourselves that "we're going to try something different this time"...the menu does has a lot to offer but we ALWAYS end up ordering Ceviche & Jalea. It's the best here! We've tried this dish at many places and have consistently found that... More

Real flavors of Peru, South America's most interesting and diverse cuisine. For quick take-out there is rotisserie chicken. For a hearty lunch or dinner there are heaping platters of meats and seafood with all the yummy sauces of Peru. Very reasonable prices.

Staff & food are amazing here! I spent some time in Peru so I have a soft spot for their food & this little gem,ran by abstuve is superb. I obviously had some Inca cola to drink, we weren't drinking but it is BYOB. I ordered some plantain to start & my husband had this amazing cold dish with large... More

I was in the area on business and I love Spanish food so I gave this place a try. I ordered a bunch of things to try for takeout, and overall I liked it and would eat there again. The place is a hole in the wall, and if you're driving too fast you just might miss it (I did).... More

The food here is outstanding. It is so clearly freshly made and very authentic. The soup will improve your day because it's so delicious and soothing. The owners and staff are very kind and seem to be Happy to explain the menu to non-Spanish speakers. I highly recommend this place!

Been to many Peruvian restaurants...this one is really good. Restaurant is comfortable and attractively decorated - don't expect 5 star ambience and cuisine. Do expect a great meal with very friendly, attentive service. Menu fully explains, with photographs, each selection. The ones we had - Papa Relleno with creole salad, Lomo Saltado, plantains and a bowl of beans were all... More

Excellent whole roasted chicken, rice and very tasty beans-- with a side of plátanos and their very good hot sauces--and you have a very well priced, very big meal for two. The roast chicken is our go-to meal, but everything else looks very good. Over the years, it appears that the restaurant has changed hands-- but seemingly all to the... More

We were told about Pollo a La Brasa by a friend a and a group of us decided to try it on a Saturday night. We called ahead and made a reservation because we were a group of 7. It was suggested to us at that time if anyone in our party was going to order the whole chicken dinner... More
