I have to tell you what a great experience my family and I had. Being tourists we had little knowledge of the mystic area so we checked this website and since this place was near our hotel we called to see if they could fit us in. We had 2 young children and 4 adults. The hostess was so nice and accommodating it made us feel comfortable right away. I didnt expect the wine and beer to offer as much variety as it did. Lots of great Selections. The pizza we order, 4 different types were AWSOME!! Our server Tina was great she explained everything and even helped my daughter (who can be difficult) customize her selections. Me being in the restaurant business, former chef and restrauntuer was really impressed with the food and service. A nice family place, kids love it. I will definitely recommend this place to family and friends visiting Mystic.

Stopped in here for lunch with the family while shopping at the Mystic village. Pizza was very good. We orders three small pies to share - cheese, pepperoni, and a white with broccoli. Apple juice and chocolate milk for the kids. Decent beer selection too. Good service as well. Happy we stopped here. You should check it out.

Well the only disappointing thing was they were out of clams for their clam pizza. I was really looking forward to try it but they made up for it. We had the mushroom pizza which was really amazing. We ordered the wood fired wings and asked our waiter for no sauce but just add salt and pepper. He was shocked a bit but they were so good. Crispy with a hint of the wood fire. We also split a lobster roll which was one of the better ones we had in the area. It was our first time but really looking forward to going back. Also, I believe our waiter was Chris, great waiter!

Being local in Stonington I try to support businesses during the pandemic. Getting take out I feel does this. Ordered a large and small pizzas and some wings. I picked order up and it was 74 dollars total because I tipped. I got home and realized they gave me an extra item and I was charged for it. I noticed all younger staff when I picked up my order. I spoke with a young girl in phone who said she was a manager. I explained to her I didnt order the extra appetizer and she argued with me. I asked her to take it off my bill because no one eats the item. She was rude and said I had to come back and turn the food product back in. I said to her I just spent 70 plus dollars in take out food and the bread probly cost you 50 cents. She rudely said she was the manager and you have to bring it back. I told her I wasn't driving back from the borough to the village and that I will never be back to the Mangos Pizza place ever again and we are local and will pass the word. She said, "Oh well. Thats your choice." Hung up. Pandemic, take out order, food below average. Don't patronize this place. There much better service and food elsewhere. Never going back. And I tipped. Going on forums and social media now. I hope the money they stole was worth it to the owners.

Made a reservation for two tables for a group of 12. Upon arriving only one table was ready so most of them sat at that one table and then we had to wait outside in the rain for 15 minutes before we were seated with our family. Took a while to place our order and when we did we received partial order as pizza was left off And the shark bites, chicken, was burnt. Sent back chicken and got another order which wasn’t much better. Seem like there was just a lot of chaos at that Time. A return visit is very doubtful.

Music was very loud. Food was overpriced and unremarkable. Salad was served with bad lettuce, very basic ingredients but expensive. Pizza had an underdone crust, could have used more oven time. Interior leaves a lot to be desired.

We took advantage of a Restaurant Week lunch special with an appetizer, alcoholic drink, and personal pizza. The bourbon-glazed wings, meatball, and BBQ pizza were both extraordinary. We can't wait to return.

I called ahead and placed an order to eat at the restaurant. When we got there we were told that we couldn’t eat in the restaurant because we ordered a “takeout” order. The manager said she didn’t hear me say that we were going to eat there or she would have explained the rules. That being said, she wouldn’t make an exception even though the tables were half empty nor would she let us eat outside at a picnic table. Ridiculous rules and poor business practice. Kiss my business GOODBYE. The Recovery Room in New London, here I come!! Fantastic pizza and great service there.

Our family loves coming to Mystic for day trips and this time we came to Olde Mystic Village. Lunch was in order once we arrived and we decided to try something new - Mango’s Wood-Fired Pizza Co, and they did not disappoint. We ordered cheesy garlic bread as an appetizer followed by a large cheese pizza. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly, and the rustic atmosphere was perfect. We highly recommend this place.

They would do EVERYONE a service by not offering gluten free crust. The gummy, wet cardboard-tasting "crust" of my pizza simply wasn't edible. I had to resort to scraping the toppings off like I did before GF crust was a thing. I would have ordered something else...or dined somewhere else. I haven't had a GF crust that bad in years - this was like a 'first generation' GF crust from when restaurants were first experimenting with them. I complained to the server, and she sweetly told me that they don't make the GF crust in house. I appreciated the candor, but it's not an excuse for charging $25 bucks (the GF crust was $5 extra!) for an inedible 12" pizza. Clearly GF people aren't important to them if this is the best they can do. So sad.

Nice to see a pizza properly cooked in a HOT oven-hand-tossed crust was lightly singed, yet flexible. I even tried a slice of my friends' gluten-free, and it was way better than other GF's I've tried. We thought the music was a little loud where they seated us, but they let us move without hassle.

Ate at Mango's while walking around Old Mystik Village and it was perfect for what we were looking for-my husband wanted a sandwich and I wanted pizza. He enjoyed his sandwich and I got the smaller-sized Margherita which was pretty big for one person. I thought I'd be able to save some and bring it back to our hotel for later but it was so good I ate it all! The restaurant felt very safe, we were seated a good distance from others and the service was good. Will definitely go back next time I'm in Mystic.

I wish I had been able to sit inside since it was hotter than the face of the sun on my trip but as a solo patron I get why I was relegated to the outside. That aside they have some of the most reasonably priced food in Old Mistick Village and they have a wide variety of pizzas (and other offering) I had the oyster mushroom pizza and had plenty enough left over for the next day. It was very yummy.

in a nutshell - Good food (not great) BUT Horrible service. Here's what happened: Our server as well as most of the staff we observed looked like they HATED their job. Our server "Nancy" (got her name off the recpt) was not at all friendly. Did the bare minimum to get the job done. Did not introduce herself. Brought us the wrong pizza and forgot to bring our appetizer. We had to point out that it was under the warmer lights waiting to be picked up. She never came over to see how we liked our meal. Never picked up any dirty dishes, and never asked if we would like dessert. She just put the check down and said, "no hurry". She as well as most of the staff were female in their late teens, early twenties. I don't blame her because most of the "ladies" looked like they would rather be at the beach. I blame the Manager. It was clear the staff overall was poorly trained and while we were there, it didn't seem to have any management directing the staff. AS FOR THE FOOD: We had the salad, very fresh that came in a large bowl. Enough for 4 people. The "Meatball" appetizer was delicious and served in a crock full of sauce which was good because the pizza was dry, and as for "Google" listing the cost of a Mango's meal between $10 - $20?? That's a joke, Our pizza alone was close to $30.00. Total bill for Lunch for Two? $70.00 with tip!!!

Two families recently went here for lunch. Service was fantastic. Food was a bit slow coming out but that happened in every restaurant in Mystic while we were there. Pizza names are crazy so I can’t remember them but the meat lovers one was by far the best pizza I’ve ever had. The chicken and veggie was good but had an overwhelming amount of garlic for my taste.
