It was a last minute decision to go there for dinner. The roasted oysters were delicious, and the stuffed scallops were divine. The Depot pie was also very delicious!

Always fresh and scrumptious! Quite reasonable for fish prices on the shore. Never a bad meal. Neighborhood regulars are common folks that never buy a single lady a drink! Odd. Seasoned waitstaff with nice stories. Great steamers, scallops and veggies. Soups can be a bit over seasoned and complex fusions. Cold beer!

The restaurant was a bustling place of filled tables but we could still hear ourselves talk. The wait staff moved quickly and our waiter, Jeremy, was very nice. The restaurant... More

My family has been going to Scribner's for close to 40 years. It is always a wonderful experience. Food is consistently good; try the Depot pie and Peach Freeze desserts and the staff is warm and accommodating. It's a great place to go with friends because you're never rushed. Family favorites are the catfish piccata and swordfish Gorgonzola. If you're... More

Interesting photo of Scribners back in the day in the lobby when it was on formerly named Cherry or Beach St as an old charming grocer/market on a dirt road with farmland in background. Note: We have never been here before so do not have the sentimental past memories or not being a local: have a feeling of familiarity or... More
