Had takeout dinner from Portofino's tonight and the lasagna and eggplant parmigiana were good, and the "garlic knots" are excellent. Stuffed breads are tasty also.

Considering it's tucked away in a small strip mall in North Madison, Connecticut, miles away from civilization, Portofino's makes surprisingly good thin crust pizza and their garlic knots are just delicious.

Portofino's makes a very good thin crust pizza and their eggplant grinders are good, too. Baked ziti had a little too much cheese for my taste.

I usually think of Portofino's as a "pizza place" however, we recently used them to cater food for a memorial service and I was pleasantly surprised by how great the food was! Awesome Chicken Florentine, Eggplant Parm, Chicken Parm, Lasagna, Stuffed Breads/Garlic Breads and Salad. I would highly recommend if you need to order larger quantities for any type of... More

Portofino's makes a good thin crust pizza that is flavorful, chewy, and satisfying. It may not be a destination restaurant but if you are in the area and are looking for pizza you can't go wrong here. Eggplant grinder was fine also. And on Saturday evening, they are open til 10 pm.

This is our go to pizza place, and they deliver! (Tip your driver yo!) and we always bring their stuffed breads to parties. Can't go wrong. Staff & drivers are super friendly & polite.

I like the Hawaiian delicious with the hint of cinnamon. Also the Yankee clipper is a nice spicy meaty pie. The crust is crispy and slightly chewy deliciousness.

it is not often that pizza places are better known for the subs and breads, but that is how my family feels about Portofinos. The pizza is fine, but the italian grinders and pepperoni bread are the better choice I feel.

Went in, asked for a chicken club. Hands down one of the best I've had in a while! The baguette toasted was great! I'd say I'll make more visits!

They offer a pretty wide Italian choice of food and they do it really really well. They nail the pizza spot on! A wide choice of pizzas, from the common choices, Sicilian, and also specialty pizzas...not the typical offerings, much more. The calzones are huge and filled with lots of stuffings. The dinners such as backed ziti, lasagna, manicotti, etc... More
