Called in mid-walk while holidaying in the area. Didn't eat but atmosphere was good and location with views and external seating. Decent selection of good beers.

Our last visit was back in november and our return yesterday was by chance[its best to book in advance] but we only waited 15 minutes for a table. Sunday lunch was exellent,as always. The pork and beef were succulent with ample vegetables to satisfy the biggest appetites. Friendly staff and a generally comfortable atmosphere. I wish this was my local.

I visited with a group and despite pre booking the meal still had to wait. The food was generally disappointing, my small lasagne was very small and very dried out. Shame, as people friendly and the pub is pleasant inside

Return visit to this village pub. Six of us in the party and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the home cooked Sunday lunch. Great service (thanks Heather) and surroundings. Special mentions for the Lamb, the scampi (yes I know, not Sunday fare, just couldn't resist) and the half chicken which judging by its size, had Jurassic origins. Great place to eat every... More

We stumbled upon the The Kings Arms while out for a Sunday walk and thought we'd pop in for lunch. The pub was really busy and a lot of tables were reserved so, as it was a beautiful day, especially for January, we asked if we could order food at one of the outside tables. We were told that was... We decided to have a family meal here over Christmas. On booking we were asked to preorder due to e size of the party but it was clear non of the food had been pre prepared (the lady asked if she should put the order through after we had ordered drinks - resulting in a delay in the food tat... Eight of us visited on Saturday night to celebrate a birthday. As usual the staff were very accommodating and there was plenty of choice on the menu. The meals were well presented and lovely unfortunately mums husband and I had sirloin steaks which looked fab but we're quite grisley when you cut into them and ended up leaving quite a... More

Nice cosy, busy pub. Decent selection of drinks but not a great choice of Ales. Food was being served but we didn't eat. The Ladies were clean and nicely decorated. A good place to have a chilled afternoon.

My family came for evening meal on a Monday night to celebrate my graduation. The range of specials was good, as was the menu. The staff were friendly and service prompt and everyone enjoyed their food. My husband had a Birthday too and they were happy to light candles and bring out the cake I had supplied.
