We decided to celebrate our anniversary this year by having lunch instead of a dinner at Max Fish and found it was a great experience. They have a slightly different lunch menu than at dinner but it was totally satisfying. The service and food was great, no complaints. As with all Max's restaurants, a little more noisy than I would... More

Early on a busy Friday night you will be parking a good distance from the restaurant. Once inside, we were prepared to make a U-Turn. The noise from and the jam packed bar was a big turn off, at least for us. But we were meeting friends, and the friendly and diplomatic host made sure we had a table in... More

Great restaurant with the freshest fish in the area. Oysters were beyond phenomenal and our service was amazing.

We only had time to try the soups, but the Lobster bisque was world class and the chowder was good too. Great warmed rolls and whipped butter, and awesome cocktails. We'll be back when we're in town again.

Max Fish is a restaurant I've been wanting to go to. It did not disappoint. I had clam chowder, New England, it was one of the best I've had, perfect portion size. My husband ate raw bar items that he said were amazing. For lunch we both had salads. My husband had octopus, that he said was prepared to perfection. My... More

My friend recommended this place for happy hour and we went with a group of friends. The prices and drinks was very reasonable for someone on a budget. Everything We ordered was excellent I'm not too much of a seafood eater but I was glad that they had a beef burger on the menu. I had one and it was... More

This is the place to go if you are one of those special diets because they have very healthy selections. I had a lobster special and the sauce was out of this world. Pricy but that is what finicky eaters have to do.

We went to several happy hours - the first few were great. The last time we went every dish was not up to the standard I expected. We haven't been back since. Brunch is supposed to be very good.

We live in town and go out to eat often, and have been to Max Fish a few times for work functions but never for a sit down meal... so we decided to book for Valentine's Day. The food was delicious and the chef even made my stuffed lobster into more of a lobster casserole so I didn't have to... More
