This was recommended by fellow boaters at the Brewers Essex Island Marina. I don’t think I would have gone there without this recommendation. We are glad we tried it. I had the Norwegian Benedict and my wife had the crab Benedict. Both were delicious. The...More

Marley's is located on a small island in the Connecticut River owned by a marina. Take the passenger ferry across the channel for some great casual eats. Always a treat going there.

Have been going to Essex for years and never knew you could take a 30 second ferry over To Marley's. What a Great Spot for Lunch. Could get crowded but well worth it.

It's a nice atmosphere--basically, it's a cafe at a marina. Don't be taken in that it's on an "Island"--the Island is a 50 foot boat ride from shore. Food is good, adequate. It is bring your own, so that makes it nice.
